These games are still fairly neat, even if it's suffered overkill.  The Clone Wars is a surprisingly good show, so there's really nothing wrong here.  Just a lack of innovation on TT's part.

That thumbnail looked like Supreme Commander. I'm disappointed.

How many of these is it now? SW 1, 2 and 3....two Indy games....a HP yrs 1-4...Batman...am I missing any? Wow Tell Tale...way to milk the formula lol

Well, they are certainly going fora very different feel from the previous Lego games. I know nothing about the Clone Wars or whatever else this is based off but if it can keep a smooth balance between tactical rts with easily accessible gameplay then it might be a winner.

Meh. Looks better than Brutal Legend at least.

Dude, people bought the first one, because they wanted to make fun of the movies, and the game was funny.
They bought the second one, because they liked Star Wars and the game was funny.
 
No one watches The Clone Wars. No one cares about new Star Wars TV shows. This will be Batman all over again. (and not in a good way)

I'm not sure why people keep bringing this up.  It's made by completely different developers and mainly focuses on the Lego side of things, over Star Wars.  Even then, it's guaranteed to outsell any of those other games you listed. "

They finally bring back co op in a Lego title and it ends up being a crappy version of Star Wars?!  Bah!

This looks too complicated. What's wrong with fighting enemies, solving simple puzzles, and collecting studs? I don't go to the LEGO games to play a fucking RTS. I mean, I can understand wanting to freshen up the formula, but... This looks lame. :S

I like the Lego games but Clone Wars is just a no for me.

I think I'm stoked about this... I can't tell yet.

Completely impossible for Lucasarts to license people to keep those franchises going though right? Or even try and get the developers to do another one this gen.  And I'm well aware lego sells like hotcakes to the kids, it doesn't mean it's any good... "

I bought that compilation for the PS3 that had the first and the second Lego Star Wars game. Did not enjoy it AT ALL. Wasn't even fun in co-op.

See this is why raising kids has to suck now. They're into the shitty Star Wars stuff instead of the real films. Dads everywhere must be losing their minds having to watch The Clone Wars with the little ones.

Good to see that they're trying to expand the Lego formula a bit.

I admit that PvP in a LEGO game seems a little weird, but the build aspect seems to be taken from LEGO HP - it has a level building component that I only used to 100% the game, but uses the same system.  Incorporating it into the main game is interesting...but I'll be waiting to play this until it's cheap.

Wow, this is.... not what I want from Lego games. At all. Combat is not whats good about those games, collecting is. What a misstep.

Don't care much about Clone Wars series or this though really enjoying the other Lego games (as a thing to play for a weekend all the way through & never again).  
 
When I saw this header initially I was kind of hoping for Kotor version of Lego Star Wars, that would be wicked cool though I'd miss the assassin droid calling everyone meatbag as the Lego droids tend to not have voices.

Suddenly Lego StarCraft seems viable.

 
Well at least they are trying something a bit different - the first games were fun but because of their simplicity they became repetitive after the nostalgia / quirky humour wore off. With Batman, Indy and HP following the same template they clearly got in a rut. 
 
It's just a shame that the Clone Wars setting is such a limited environment without the strong character appeal of the other games.

Battles look a we bit small as well - the TV series at least felt there was something epic going on not just the odd turret, a droideka and a handful of B1 and B2s per area. Really want a Star Wars styled Supreme Commander if they are going down the RTS road.

A modern star wars template that I dont care about, and a very simplistic RTS game combined into a game i wont buy :)

Makes me sad to see crap like this getting made while they completely ignore the Battlefront and Republic Commando series. Hopefully this will bomb and they will turn to the above games to pull them back in.

This looks kinda cool, but another battlefront or Republic Commando 2 would be better.
