Splinter Cell Conviction: A Nighttime Gameplay Demo

I love how Sam seems to get younger and more agile with every game.
 
He must be related to Benjamin Button.

Looks good but it also looks like the game is playing itself... not too sure about how that's going to affect the end result.

Oh my God, Oh my God, Oh my God! This game looks amazing! 

Still has the trademark clunky movements, I see.  Nice that they added a crutch to make it look like real action.  Marking the targets.   
 
As for the stealth in these games.  It's always been bad.  You drop down and move about like a fat man, and automatically feel like your invisible.  Like you should have gotten their attention, but the AI was to stupid to see you.  Fisher moves so clunky and is so poorly animated that its more like being along for the ride. Instead of needing any real gaming skills.   Which creates a huge problem for a game, that is supposed to be about stealth action, and not  racing cars.
 
Another easy button game.  But still might be fun to rent.  Not entirely worthless, even for a copy cat game.  That was only created to emulate a best seller.  
 
But at least we can say, one thing about this game.  Its purty.

Alright, it looks like they finally made stealth interesting. Although I don't get how the shooting mechanic works -- hopefully it is not too automatic. 

Too bad it is not coming to the ps3.

this game looks realy good, the first time im actually excited to play a splinter cell game

as stoked as i am about this game, it just doesn't seem like much of a stealth game anymore. i guess thats just how things are now. metal gear isn't even much of a stealth game now.

Awwwesoomme. Wish it were on PS3. Hope my PC can run this.

I'm not sold on the Mark and Execute but I haven't played the game yet so I'll what the demo's like.

Ubisoft are on fire! Just been replaying the still recent Prince Of Persia and Assassins Creed and i plan to go back to Double Agent again before Conviction drops... Some of the best game experiences i've had ever.
I hope they do get around to Beyond Good and Evil 2 but they are spoiling us already.

So much for the re-imagining of Sam, he's still pretty techy for a guy with no gadgets.
I'm quite annoyed really, I was hoping it'd be a guy on the edge with nothing to lose going in with next to nothing. How wrong I was.

Might sound strange, but after playing uncharted 2, I'm not as interested in this one.

I like the Splinter Cell series but Sam all ways enters a place and kills everybody in sight, now I'm no expert but I'm sure thats the definition of  a bad spy.

this demo looks rad. the only problem i have is that on your first play through you won't be able to do a lot of that stuff not knowing where the enemies are. a lot of the moves they used were contingent upon the fact that the guy playing totally knew where all the dudes were. still looked pretty fantastic though.

Always like a bit of Splinter Cell. Shame its 360 only...only got a PS3

you don't do stuff ... you tell the character to do the stuff

Looks great and I will be playing, but to be honest the "stealth" approach and "offensive" approach where identical.  Stealth was drop from above to knocked someone out, shoot 2 dudes in the head, kill the 3rd with the camera explosion, in the offensive it starts with a flashbang, but then does the exact same thing, drops and knocks out, then shoots 3 guys in the head. 
 
I hope that there still will be stealth where you are encouraged not to be seen by anyone.
