All of the characters are references to the FGC, not Giant Bomb.

You guys need to stop thinking everything revolves around Giant Bomb. Why would Jeff be in it? He has no involvement in the FGC, nor did he contribute to the Dive Kick Kickstarter (the only two ways certain real life people are in the game).

I'll give you the hair looking like Jeff, but the facial hair really doesn't look like Jeff's goatee at all. And the facial features don't really match Jeff either.

Zubaz was a rejected character from Street Fighter who only exists as incredibly early sketches and concept art. The guys that make Two Best Friends Play took a liking to how dumb he is, and I think they occasionally feature "The Baz" (or Zubaz?) as a sponsor in the middle of their videos, where they list off fictional sponsors. One of the guys from Two Best Friends Play made a Baz character in WWE '13, which made its way into the VGCW eventually (I haven't seen the VGCW matches with The Baz, but I assume it's the same character). The guys from Two Best Friends Play also contributed generously to the Dive Kick Kickstarter, allowing them to design a character (The Baz), which was honoured even after the Kickstarter was canceled because Iron Galaxy picked up the game.
