trackmania's editor have always been slow paced ... one piece at a time, no easier way to build tracks than by seletection the piece and placing it, sucks

That makes sense, I remember playing it a few years ago and seemed as though I could do a lot without having to pay for it. This version does look pretty and all so I hope the developers make a couple of bucks from it.

It is like "half-free" on the PC.  It is one of those almost "freemeium" games.  Anyways, no real online for the Wii is a no-go for this dude.

The demo is free. You can play that if you want, and if you want to buy the actual game, you can too.

Not just you! 
But this is the same track-editing engine as all of the other games..just onto the Wii. Looks good, but old.

I think they just mean you don't have to load again to test -- like just jump in during creation part.

@BenderUnit22: Trackmania is waaaaay too in depth for an arcade release. Unless they destroy it like they did on the DS.
 
Aside from that, I wonder why they're using real time testing as a selling point. How else would you test your jumps.
