@brad It's incredibly easy getting the Kinect for Windows going. The tools from Microsoft are surprisingly great. Bonus, if you've got a copy of Unity, you can start using it to do dumb stuff with a game engine. We were really impressed with how easy it was at work.

£400 here in the UK... no thanx, my Xbox One was only £170 brand new on sale as everyone is trying to get rid of them because the console ain't selling.

I'm just gonna be sticking to PC now that they confirmed everything is coming to it, no point on the Xbox any more.

No removable internal drive either, so it means you have to have the OS running on the slow arse laptop drive.

Basically needing all that stuff for Kinect kills it for this console... the whole point of getting this one is really so you don't need that horrible power brick.

Yeah wait for the 500GB one as you'll want to use a fster external drive any ways.

I think I may be susceptible to this sort of thing, had similar issues with Portal as an example.

It took me 10 minutes with Microsoft chat support to get the adapter mailed out to me. Not a big deal.
