What's In Final Fantasy IV: The Complete Collection

Awesome, playing FF IV on the DS atm. I see what the fuss was about..it's a pretty good game. 

Well, apparently the past FF games before 7 are good, so I can't complain. :3

Get me an updated version of  VI, then lets talk.

Why didn't they use the updated graphics from the DS release?

complete collection like a best of 80's CD? sounds stupid

Buy it again, for the very first time.

I think The After Years was a mobile game in Japan, then a  WiiWare release a little bit after that. Never played it though...

If it doesn't include the GBA content, it's hardly complete.

This is a pretty terrible advert. Who wrote the copy for this?
 Thankfully, it's advertising ff4, so if you're in, you're in.

At least it will finally give me a reason to play FFIV. I didn't even know what RPGs were back then, and certainly couldn't afford to buy any with my meager salary of $0. Technically I own the PSX version, but I'd rather wait for this.

Worst trailer narration ever. Makes it sound like a super upbeat story. When it is quite the opposite. Squenix you are fuckin up your advert campaigns. Knock it off.

Still my personal favourite Final Fantasy. But I've already bought all the past reiterations :S.

FF IV (aka II) is my favorite FF game.  Amazed from the beginning to the end.

I don't get what all the fuss is about? I played Final Fantasy IV back in the day when it was called Final Fantasy II on SNES and it was so fucking boring.

The after years? Should have called it FFIV-2.......

Nah I'm fine having played the DS remake, and from what I've heard the after years were pretty terrible anyway. Also Kain turning evil, again, just seems kind of lame.

Bought. Fucking Square dipping a hand yet again into my wallet by playing the nostalgia card.

Hey guys, I don't know if you noticed, but it sounds like this is Final Fantasy 4. (How many times do they need to freakin tell you that in this trailer?)

That voice over was annoying but the game looks good. They really wanted to emphasize the COMPLETE COLLECTION didn't they.

Can you guys just do something with VI already?

Best game of the series, hands down. Already bought it three times now, can't afford a fourth. Maybe when it goes cheap used.

Allow me to assure everyone that this game will be a waste of money.  Final Fantasy IV on ***DS*** is amazing, the definitive version of this amazing game.  FFIV: The After Years is garbage, I've played through it all on Wii and it pales in comparison to the original.
 
Save yourself $25 and pick up FFIV on DS if you want to relive the magic.

Wow, they couldn't afford to hire a better voice actor? I know it's just a trailer, but the voiceover is so bad it actually makes the game seem worse.

Why does 4 get all this love and not 6?

Did anyone else get to :43 and think, "How could those two girls have a baby?" :) I don't wanna be a dick, but Yoshitaka Amano seems only capable of drawing women. That is way, WAY beyond effeminate.
 
Anyway, it seems silly to me to call this the FFIV Complete Collection when it lacks the 3D version Matrix did for the DS. I mean, isn't that the pre-rendered cutscenes from that version? It sure isn't the CG they did for FF Chronicles on PSX. Those would make a nice bonus though.
 
It's a neat idea, but I'd prefer seeing FF6 finally get remade. Perhaps for the 3DS, Matrix will get around to doing Final Fantasies 5 and 6 now that they knocked out III and IV for the DS, as well as the Four Heroes of Light.

so did we really need a 6th different version of FF4? to think that this game is in development alongside final fantasy XIII-2, final fantasy versus XIII, final fantasy type-0 (formerly final fantasy agito XIII), and the ongoing development and staff restructuring of final fantasy XIV.

The voiceover girl sounds like she did Youtube fandubs or flash animations before getting picked up for this trailer.

Have my PS1 version and my copy on the DS, don't need a 3rd....
