The Nintendo Wii is a home video game console released on November 19, 2006. The Wii's main selling point was the innovative use of motion controls that its signature Wii Remote and Nunchuk controllers allowed for. It became the best selling home console of its respective generation of hardware.
Does anyone know if the online features for a Japanese Wii will work in the United States? I'm not talking about the American menus and shop channel, but rather the Japanese options the NTSC/J Wii would normally log onto. Can you use it in the U.S.? Thanks for any help.
If you get a Japanese Wii, you will have access to only the Japanese Wii channel. The same is true with an NTSC Wii in Japan. You can still use it (im 90 percent sure) but you cant use the american vc or wiiware.
