The dashboard as it is now is a mess, and I'd take a few features I'd never use over what I have now any day.  Is it the Wii-avatars everyone is complaining about?  Yeah I think that's a ripoff and that it looks kind of dumb, especially on a 360, but he does have a point- I'll never really have to use that stuff.

The new one looks interesting.  I am just worried it wont run well.  My 360 has a hard enough time just loading the information off my HD in text form.  What will happen when images are involved.

I would take performance over look anytime.

Well I'm looking forward to "the new xbox experience" , dashboard included.  I spend a lot of time on live and in and out of the dashboard frequently and this system appears to have a more efficient interface. 

They had to do this or risk many people possible leaving their 360s just because of the interface. Personally I happy to see something new.

I actually do like the new interface. It is sorta like a mix of the PS3 and Wii interface, as well as the XP/Vista media center.

I've never once heard somebody not using their 360 because of the terrible dashboard.  Yeah, it sucks, but a way to get rid of it is put a game in, and I think the games justify the system rather than it's dashboard.

i've never had much of a problem with the dashboard as it is but then again i dont go to the marketplace that often.
the new dashboard looks great and looks like it will be more responsive than what we have now.

I dont see why microsoft felt the need to change it, but I am excited for the new change. And its stupid if your all stuborn and wont use it. They made it easier and quicker...so why not use it?

I don't mind the changes, would be nice with something new. Not so sure about the avatar bit, but I will give it a chance.

The old dash is crap.  It take me forever to find things in it.  I will use the new dashboard and love it.

I'm not a big fan of the new design and the avatars, but I'll try it out first and see what I think hands-on.

I think I'll use it a little, but not as much as the current one.

I'll use it, it looks great to me.

I don't really care how it looks as long as it works. If it's faster and better to navigate then I'll accept it with open arms. It looks like crude but once I saw what A theme looks like with it, then I was impressed. I'll be buying a theme for it as soon as it would be available.

I like the new look and i'll definitely use the hell out of it.

Thank god, even though I think its going to be terrible, I'm still going to try it out. I always give everything a shot first. Even if I don't like it, I'll still probably end up using it. I'll probably forget to change it, then, I'll just get used to it.

This is an excellent option for all users.

Don't be confused people. There's no option to use the new one or old one, you WILL get the new one. All he's saying is you can start your 360 with a game in the tray and skip the dashboard. Then hit the gamer guide and the new guide is basically like the old dashboard. That's all. You won't have an option to choose which dashboard you want.

the dashboard will still be there, which isnt fair to those who dont want it.

Like ive said before, it makes me indifferent, but they should still make it optional.

I like the blades, but the marketplace is such a mess. I look forward to the new dashboard.
