If I got Rock Band 2, I would be using my rock band 1 instruments and buying the game only. I want your opinion, I love both types of game.

Rock Band 2 or PURE
"I would say Rock Band 2 because I thought the Pure demo was rather generic...Pure might be worth a later look after a price cut, but I don't think it warrants the $60 price tag."I probably should have said that I LOVED the demo.
"I probably should have said that I LOVED the demo."Then I would probably say you should go with Pure...If it was me I wouldn't get either, but since you liked the demo you'll likely love the full game too. If I liked the demo I would definitely pick a brand new game over a disc with some new music on it. :P
"Seriously? Rock Band 2. I enjoyed the pure demo, but seriously. Rock Band 2."SERIOUSLY!?!?!?
I want to say Rock Band 2 just because you'll have over 130+ songs or whatever from the get-go (if you transfer songs). Honestly, Rock Band has been the only game I haven't traded in, and have it almost a year. Every other game goes in a few weeks. I also really loved the Pure demo, played it 10 times. Might just rent Pure, unsure.
"If I got Rock Band 2, I would be using my rock band 1 instruments and buying the game only. I want your opinion, I love both types of game."I would get Rock Band 2. More replay value than Pure in my opinion.
Sup guys, I rented Pure today from work, but bought Rock Band 2. Reason? 150+ songs for me on Rock Band. From my 3 hours of playing time with Pure, it has been very enjoyable (mostly). It's set up like in earlier Burnouts where you have a couple different sections, each section having multiple events (in this case 4 to 7 events per section). After my time with it, I got through about half of the World Tour mode, the main meat of the game although it's because I did the minimum required to move on. Your ATVs range from D to A and customizing your machine is a pretty deep process. Lots of customization. Then there are the 5 characters to choose from, the 3 types of events (Race, Freestyle, Sprint) and 16 players online.
So while Pure is a great game with a neat fusion between Burnout and SSX, you can't really beat the replayability of Rock Band 2.
You guys think Pure is so great, but I dare you to play Motorstorm. Now THAT game is where it's at.
Pure = Motorstorm Rip-off.

Pure = Motorstorm Rip-off."
i didn't know comparing a music game to a racing game was how people made there choices these day :P
Depends what you personally like doing the most - if its music and you enjoyed guitar hero - lets say - more then driving games, then rock band 2 all the way, or visa versa etc
"DeadlyPain said:¬_¬ i guess my simply mind failed to see that lol"metamorphic, wtf is that suppose to mean?"Rock + Rubber-band + 2 = Rock Band 2"
PURE. It's a whole hell of a lot of fun and its some thing new, unlike Rock Band which is just the same game with new songs. It gets old after awhile.
And PURE is far from a Motorstorm rip off. Motorstorm is all about racing and speed. Pure is about racing, style, speed and tricks. It reminds me of the SSX games some what. Also in PURE you can fully customize your ATV and you actually build it yourself from scratch, so it really makes you feel like you accomplish some thing when you win a race because you do it with your own creation.
