this here game be a day one perch for me. And I'm willing to accept that it might suck, or be downright bad. But I want my piece of nostalgia and I want my balls in gaming back (figuratively, not literally)

It's a Duke game that's following the Duke formula, that's all I need to have fun, the only thing that can ruin this game is technical problems, and I'm pretty sure framerate and the like is why it was delayed(by Gearbox, not originally).

Kaos, i like you, but i didnt expect you to be such a review-whipped whore..

reviews dont mean everything, especially when talking about fun crazy games .. you disappoint me. i like some reviews, they give me an idea of whats good and bad about a game, but theyre not everything and i dont rely on numbers and scores of other people to rate a game myself. we all have a bunch of low-scoring games that we adore, dont we ? fuck critics

Finding this out, you feel a rush of nostalgia and all the emotions and memories the glove brought you.

So you finally get the glove. It's small, all lumpy and smells funny. But you love it anyways so you put it on a shelf to display. So your kid comes along scoffing at the ugly glove. What's baseball he says. Why would anyone ever play that, it sounds so boring. As much as you try, you just cannot get the kid to understand. But you don't need him to understand, as long as you are happy, that's what matters.

@jams: hmm.. that was pretty good! i especially like the part about the glove being lumpy and smelly, yet it's not the glove's quality that matters, its what the glove represents
