@aurahack: thanks. The Ubisoft one is from Far Cry 4, admittedly not the most iconic picture from that game but I thought it looked good.

It's not very clear, because I got my inspiration from the diversity of ubisoft's games (White on white)

Variations on a Bethesda banner. Pretty sure the difference between the two is obvious.

The pain in the butt with this one was that I actually had to redraw all the test pattern stuff myself in Illustrator. Ugh.

I've got to to say that I'm loving this contest, its really pushing me to find new and interesting ways to do stuff and I'm learning a great deal from it. Everyone else's entries are really awesome and push me to improve my own.

I'd like to draw attention to the fact that the AMD PC show is powered by PC Gamer. Who used to be editor-in-chief of PC gamer? Oh that's right, it's Gary Whitta, friend of the site and big time movie writer man.

Thanks. Was quite happy with how the 3D stuff turned out. Couldn't get the text the way I liked it though. Still playing around with compositing in Blender so I'll try get it fixed.

I guess what would solve that would be having multiple sources for the same video tag, and make the video tag itself resolve what video format it can play.

Figured out how to render video as a gif, so here's my second entry for the Square Enix Banner.

Based on feedback, I've changed the font, added in some post processing and an extra tie-fighter. Mods can take this as my entry.
