Ubisoft: Pixel dude has to climb a tower to reveal the banner.

Just been playing around with adding luchadeer and static/video effects. Not 100% sure I actually like either. I'll come back to this in the next few days when I get bored of studying.

Once again, I believe I have lost despite my early entry.

@face15: I dig the style of your banners.

I prefer the Luchadeer logo over the regular logo. But the animations (particularly the last Ubisoft one) are driving me nuts.

@gregstorm: Smart idea that! Need to change the font to Segoe UI non-bold for full authenticity.

I gotta pop out for a bit, but I quickly knocked out another one. A bit more on the serious side.

An idea for somebody to take (as I can not do this or get anywhere near the excellent level of work on show already). Pipboy head in place on the Doom bar (i.e. the head next to the ammo/health bar on the bottom of the screen) for Bethesda.

Loving the Blatter EA conference bar and a lot of the others on show.

Here's Bethesda. Can't wait for the Hunted: The Demon's Forge 2 unveil!

Here's my Bethesda entry. I never made any animated gifs before so it's not really optimized quality wise... The crappy quality kinda gives it that old original Fallout FMV look though ;)

I love this contest. Looking through all the entries every year is always so much fun. E3 is such an exciting time even though everyone in the industry seems to dread whenever its head looms.

So many good ones this year already but this one really spoke to me for whatever reason.

I'm not much for image stuff, but here's my Bethesda thoughts.

Thought about doing them in Amber colors, in honor of the vastly superior game, but the green is still more iconic.

PC Stuff:

I'm not confident about either of these, but they were fun to make. The second one definitely has potential if someone better than me were making it.

Here's another microsoft one. It's a bit fanboy comment-war I suppose, but I have always thought Spencer has a bit of an unhinged look about him.

This is really the worst, most contrived pun I've ever made. Even worse than the stupid microsoft one.

@zmilla: Yeah I really just knocked these out in a very quick fashion on my lazy Saturday afternoon, and after seeing the excellent work others have done I'm a bit embarrassed by my half-assed approach. I have a particularly busy week coming but I should really try to find time to refine and put more effort into all of them.

Really badass design on the logo. I think the purple version might be a bit low contrast - you can't make up the detail on luchadeer's mouth and it doesn't read well. Maybe make that a bit thicker so it reads in the slightly smaller slightly lower contrast Ubisoft version.
