Eddy Gordo

Backstory

Eddy Gordo lived a prestigious life in a rich family in Brazil. He was well liked by everyone in his town and things could not be going better. However his life took a terrible turn; At age 19 he came home from school to his dying father. He was most likely murdered because he was on the verge of busting up the local drug cartel. With his dying breath his father pleaded him to take credit to the crime in order to go to jail. He concluded that would be the only safe place left.

Eddy agreed and left his lavish life style and went to jail. While in jail he was constantly thinking of getting revenge on those who murdered his father. During a prison riot, Eddy discovered an old man who could fight using the Capoeira style. Eddy trained with him for 8 years and eventually mastered the extremely powerful fighting style. Once released from jail, he entered the King of Iron Fist Tournament 3 with the intent to attract the attention of the Mishima Financial Empire. Eddy hoped that they could help him find the people who murdered his father in hopes of exacting his revenge.

Eddy Gordo also trained Christie Monteiro due to his promise to his Capoiera Master. After his master was freed from prison Eddy and Christie decides to join the King of Iron Fist Tournament 5 hoping to find a cure to his master's terminal illness. Though he failed in the King of Iron Fist Tournament 5, he spoke with the winner Jin Kazama. Jin lent him cash which could help his master in exchange of joining Jin's Tekken Force.
