Oh God, you've reminded me of the horror that was Lymle. I fucking hated her. Localisation can really fuck over a character, and that was a textbook example.

And then there's Rinoa, from FF8. Fucking Rinoa. I also hate Zell. Oh, and Selphie. Why not Irving as well, he was basically a one-note character. Aw, hell, pretty much everybody in FF8 sucks ass except the Sorceress, and Square even manages to screw that one up by the end!
Lymle for sure, kay? Props for having her on your list, kay? I can't imagine why anyone would pick someone other than her, kay? Unless they've never played SO4, kay?
Mission Vao from KotOR. In addition to being generally worthless as a character, she is super annoying as well. Oh, and I also agree with Fuuka. So... bad...
I can't attest to the annoyance of the characters named in the poll since I haven't played any of those games (I'll play XIII eventually though), so I'll say Wakka from FFX, followed very closely by Tidus. Both are up there with Edward and Vaan on my list of Final Fantasy characters I'd like to see die in a fire.
I have no idea why people have such hate for Vanille. For the first half of the game, she was one of the only characters I could tolerate. She was always up beat and happy and the rest just sat around acting all emo.
I'm going to go with Ashley Williams from Mass Effect 1.

That blond girl from Tales of Symphonia. Everything about her annoyed the fuck out of me. Her face, her hair, her dialog, her personality, and her voice actress especially.
To be fair, though, almost every character in that game annoyed the shit out of me, but she's who I think of first.
Oh, and Ken from Persona 3. I hate that little kid.
I still feel Cloud as the right to be "emo" it was just taken too far by Advent Children. He watches his mentor burn down his hometown, tell him he isn't real, watched his best friend die, and failed to protect the girl he said he was going to body guard. LIke what do you guys want him to act like after that? All heroric? That's what would be rather silly no? Cloud's emo personility is justified if you ask me.

The reason i don't say Vaan is because he's so over leveled and pretty much has all the licenses, he and I are buds XD. But he really doesn't bother me that much, Penelo and Ashe are just.. ugh I hate them. I thought those two girl's was worthless. Everyone else was perfect, I only ever wanted to smash my face against the wall with those two girl's. But everyone is different.
I liked Yukiko a lot more than Chie and Yosuke.. i still don't like them.
