Damn I don't know... Probably Dead Space 2 or RAGE. I loved the first Dead Space but I couldn't even finish the second one.
What was 2011's most immediately forgotten game?

RAGE immediately comes to mind, but if it does then does that mean that it is disqualified? Honestly though, people stopped talking about that game like a week after it came out.
@Video_Game_King honestly, I think I've heard that game mentioned far more than just about anything this side of Skyrim because of your constant pimping, usually barely within the context of whatever topic is being discussed. You don't see me go "Hey guys, Temple of Elemental Evil was pretty ballin" No. I make people do that for me. Delegation.
That's not really an option for me, because it's hard to write a series of blogs on it. "Enoch....uh...what the fuck is going on here? He....beats the shit out of a fire dildo? Did that really just happen?" Also, MS Paint doesn't come with enough colors for @Mento to do comics on it.
LittleBigPlanet 2 wins it for sure. It was one of the absolute best games of the year, and the guys even stated when it came out in January that they'd probably forget it when it came time for GOTY stuff. And they did.
Amazing game. Should be on everyone's list.
6 pages, yet no one even mentioned the Dishwasher: Vampire Smile. Come on, people, it is a good game!

Played the crap outta that game when it came out and still forgot that it came out this year until now.
I'd say Killzone 3. I think it's ironic how people say Dead Space 2, but it's on a lot of peoples top ten list, that I why I can't see it as forgotten, but I do think it should have been on more site game of the year lists. I don't see a lot of Killzone 3's on here, so it must mean that that's the one, clearly.
For me it was Rage. Major buzz then flat line. I've not seen any news or rumors about it since it came out. No DLC, sales figures, post release interviews with id... just nothing.

I love how nobody is saying El Shaddai.
I love how you are in every single thread saying El Shaddai in some manner.

I AM MARRIED, GOOD SIR!
Probably RAGE if were talking major releases. Sometimes I hate Giant Bomb for doing a quicklook where they kinda talk favorably about a game and I get super amped to play it then they completely shit on it later on and I just stare at the game on my shelf thinking "yah YAH I KNOW jerks"

Wait. That game came out last year? It was some sort of Dune MUD, right?
- The Cat and the Coup
- Lume
- Proun
- Fotonica
- Trauma
- Aliens: Infestation
- Kirby: Mass Attack
- Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars
- Stealth Bastard: Tactical Espionage Arsehole
- Duty Calls (No, seriously, I actually enjoyed the hell out of this...even if it was just a 5 minute long joke)
Crisis 2 was one i played a very soon forgot about
Brink and Homefront were played by friends and very quickly forgotten about
i'd have said Battlefield 3 if it weren't for the fact i had a massive session on it over the weekend, played the shit out of the beta, then only played the actual game for about 4 hours when it came out, well and truly back on that horse now though

Gotta be Rage. They were hyping that up since 2009.
I haven't played RAGE but I find it quite memorable.
...unfortunately for id, the only reason I find it so memorable is because of how fast it dropped in price.

People mention other ones, but I didn't even know that this one came out. That's how bad that is.

LBP2 was a weird one. Everyone I know was SUPER hyped for it because of the insane amount of additions to creation tools, and then we all kind of forgot about it once we heard there were little to no improvements made to the actual gameplay.

Killzone 3 is the only good one that I kind of forgot about.
games that I would rather forget SOCOM 4, Brink, and Fear 3 or should I say F.3.A.R,,,,
Holy shit, SOCOM 4. I'm declaring that the winner in my books.
No one thought to mention it until over 70 posts had already been made in this topic. And it came out on the same Tuesday as Portal 2 and Mortal Kombat, both of which overshadowed it in terms of popularity. And then SOCOM 4 was further overshadowed by the PSN downtime that went on for weeks, which was a much bigger story in the world of Sony/PS3 news.
Yea the whole PSN network shut down destroyed whatever little hope they had for that game. I think Sony realized that not a ton of people cared about Socom anymore, This isn't 2004. If it was a better game than they would have pulled it back before the downtime anyways.
I'll continue the trend and say LBP2
I adore that game. I love the community. I love all the creative things you can do with it; but it seems like everyone stopped caring about it almost 2 weeks after it came out. I still play it, but it's a shame it was forgotten so soon.

Haha, I've noticed that too. In particular, I think Brad is the most likely to get himself super amped by the promise of a game (L.A. Noire, RAGE, a few others), so he comes off as really positive during the Quick Look, and then eventually reality sets in by the time he writes his review of the game, and then a week or two later on the podcast he will join in on the discussion where people are saying how disappointing the game is.

Well I specifically remember them being really pumped about Renegade Ops and they were talking only in superlatives about it. Looked like a ton of fun in the Quicklook they did. Then GOTY time came around and they all sounded super disappointed in it!
LBP 2, inFamous 2, Halo CE A and Brink all were released and then you didn't hear much about them at all. To tell you the truth I thought I would be hearing more about Uncharted 3 as well.
It seems that the biggest games were Zelda, Gears 3, MW3 and Skyrim and they overshadowed everything else.
