This is going to be a brilliant bit of drama in the making,  
 

Actually, I'm super-interested in seeing what this game ends up being. The first one, for better or worse, will always hold a "special" place in my heart. I'll probably never be able to think about that first game without a rush of extremely mixed feelings, which, obviously, have very little to do with the actual game at this point. It's been my secret hope for some time now that K&L2 comes along and turns out to be completely amazing from top to bottom... basically everything that the first game wasn't. Something that actually capitalizes on the concept of "hey, what if we took Freedom Fighters and crossed it with Heat?" instead of pissing it away with poor shooting and bad squad AI. Something with a script that doesn't make you feel like you need to take a shower after you finish it. Hey, better, more random AI in the online mode would be nice, too, while I'm making a list.

Holy shit, I'm actually really excited about this. I just recently picked up the first game, and for what it is, it's pretty fun. It's definetly a flawed title, but it does a lot of interesting stuff, enough so that, for me at least, I kept playing to the end. I'm very hopeful they can make the sequel continue that, while also improving on what made the first so lackluster for most gamers.

Giantbomb is going to run K&L2 ads, and Jeff is going to review it again and end up firing himself for not rating it high enough.

To be honest I liked the first one. Hope there really is going to be a 2nd.

If this is for Kane & Lynch, I really would like the game to work out this time around. I was looking forward to the release of the first K&L. It all sounded so great (in my opinion) before its launch day with great ideas and a story that dragged me in and looked really interesting and multiplayer that looked new and addictive, but then it fell flat on its face leaving me incredibly underwhelmed. I won't hold my breath this time around after the first one, that's for sure. But I still have hopes for the sequel or wherever it takes place.
 
Oh and hey, lets not forget about the upcoming Kane & Lynch movie! *sigh*
