ps3 because it's the lead platform.

I'm tired of games that want to be movies, so neither.   Might get it on the cheap later on the year for the ps3. 

I'm getting the PS3 version, but I accidentally clicked the 360 one.  Oops!

I am going to get it for which ever system it runs better on. I will admit though that the 3 disc thing has me looking at the PS3 version more.

Getting it on the 360. Swapping discs isn't a huge deal to me.

If I do buy then definitely PS3. One Blu-Ray, less compression, and it was originally a PS3 exclusive so it *should* be the better version.

360, I don't care about disc swapping.

360, I see no reason not to. I love me some achievements and don't care about trophies at all. Both will have basically the same graphics most likely, and I don't care at all about swapping discs.

It's a though decision between having three discs and having a really uncomfortable controller.

PS3 for me. It comes down to graphical fidelity, ease of play since I don't have to swaps disks, and I generally prefer the playstation controller. Mostly it's a personal choice thing, I just like the PS3 better though I own both.

I really don't mind swapping disks, so I guess 360.

It'd be nice if they put it up on steam sometime in the future.

A game that spent a big portion of dev time as a PS3 exclusive and is a now announced as a 3 disc 360 game I think I'll go with the PS3 version. At the very least this will be a FFXIII situation with the 360 version having graphical differences due to compression.

I'm going to rent it on PS3 and not give a fuck.

A lot of people here apparently have the luxury of owning both systems. I don't, so 360 for me. I guess I will have to endure swapping discs three times per playthrough. WOE IS ME.

If I had a PS3, then that. However I don't , so 360 it is. Which I don't mind.

I clicked 360 (the console I always buy my multiplats for) but I'm still a little on the fence.

I want to pre-order it for the sake of a trivial goodie but I also want to wait to see how it performs. So far it seems screen-tearing exists in just about every multiplat release to varying degrees (more so than exclusives in my experience) and it's something that has been bugging me more and more.

(...that and Diablo III really is really pushing me towards building/buying a new rig)

GTA IV and RDR were developed on the 360 and ported to PS3, an experience that taught Rockstar Games that porting to PS3 totally wrecks the game

which is why L.A. Noire is having the PS3 as lead platform, and ported to X360 afterwards. so expect it to be graphically superior because R* are using the PS3's powerful resources this time around.

it was even planned to be an exclusive before they decided to port to X360. and Agent is going to be a PS3 exclusive, so R* are on the right track of rectifying their terrible visual work in the PS3 department.

Either way, it's a shame there's no PC version. i'm blowing tons of cash on a PC upgrade in a couple of months.. would've been awesome to max out L.A. Noire

EDIT: Just throwing this out achievments and trophies are both cool but I really don't care about either.

PS3 cause I just prefer playing games on a sony console.

Xbox is rad though.

Not getting this game before they release all content in one package (preferebly on xbox, but if the PS is technically superior I'm going that route).

I reserved LA Noire a couple months back for 360. Before I knew about the multiple discs and the exclusive content for PS3. Going to try to transfer over my reservation this weekend. This, however is going to be an awesome game regardless of console.

PS3, 1 disc > 3 discs

PS3, mostly because I don't buy games for it all that often, but as soon as I heard about the multiple discs that pretty much sealed the deal.

360 version, as I (still) don't own a PS3. I'd love to get the version for the console it was developed for, but on the other hand it's nice to add to my gamerscore and I don't care about two disc swaps in a 20+ hour game. Sure, it's not ideal but it's no game-breaker either.
