When a song is played over the end-credits, often by a famous artist.
FMVs are pre-rendered videos used in place of real-time graphics. Using FMV was an attempt to make videogames look "more like movies", sometimes with CGI animation and others with live-action actors speaking directly to players. The downside is that FMV requires a lot of disk space, and live-action FMV in particular can look terrible by comparison.
These prehistoric behemoths cause chaos amongst many. Unfortunately, they are extinct.

Popularized by franchises such as Resident Evil and Silent Hill, these games typically involve a strong implication of danger, vulnerable protagonists, and disturbing monsters.
This stealth mechanic is based entirely on the enemies' range of vision. Light and shadows play no part in whether or not the enemy can see the player.

Often referred to as Hentai, Eroge is a video game genre which has (usually manga-style) pornographic content and artwork.
Games that feature quiz questions, often in the form of multiple choice responses.
Vampires are undead, nocturnal creatures that subsist on blood. They have superhuman powers and are sometimes able to shape-shift. They are weak against sunlight, foreign objects stuck in and left in their hearts, decapitation and sometimes holy water and crosses.
Whether it's a section of a game, a mission prelude or just a scary premonition; dreams are a common occurrence within video games.
