    Pixar is the CGI animation company that makes computer animated movies and shorts. Some video games are based off of these.

    Pixar Animation Studios is a CGI animation studio based in Emeryville, California, United Studios. They created the world's first CGI animated feature film ever in 1995 with Toy Story. Since then they have created numerous other animated feature films along with many short films.
     
    Pixar is one of the most critically acclaimed film studios ever, with every film they've made being extremely successful in the box-office and also highly praised by the critiques.
     
    Pixar has so far released 10 feature films, Toy Story in 1995, A Bug's Life in 1998, Toy Story 2 in 1999, Monsters Inc. in 2001, Finding Nemo in 2003, The Incredibles in 2004, Cars in 2006, Ratatouille in 2007, Wall E in 2008 and Up in 2009. Up was their first film presented in Disney Digital 3-D. Toy Story 3, their next feature film, is scheduled to be released on June 18th 2010.
     
    There has also spawned many games based on these successful films.
