Hi everyone. Some people seem very anxious for me to get to Virmire. I am too! But I wanted to make sure I did all the mission cleanup I could do before heading there. Next week we go to the Citadel and do the last handful of side missions. After that, we're heading straight to Virmire. Just wanted to get that out there so people aren't stressing about it next week.

@steveurkel: At no point did I complain about not being able to upgrade the ship. Like, that is not a complaint I made anywhere. By the time I got to the end of the game I'd nearly gold-tiered every part of the ship. That was not an issue. I upgraded a weapon in the quick look because I wanted to show what that looked like. You're right that I misspoke about dismantling in the QL but I did eventually figure out the dismantling.
@bicycle_repairman: Believe me, I thought about the review process in this. Here's the key difference: Origins' main story was more tightly edited, and the optional content was a lot more optional in terms of leveling and progress. Origins definitely still had its share of bloat, but a lot of that stuff was very skippable and did not feel as ingrained in the overall progression. I was also just a lot more invested in Bayek's story and the small stories around the main quest than I ever was with Odyssey's content. There are decent missions for sure, but they're fewer and further between.
@kingpk: My point is not that they are being deceptive, my point is that for what they are offering in that DLC suite, $50 is just too much money, and I think they are shooting themselves in the foot with this pricing. The initial $30 price point on PC may have been them lowballing to begin with, but I think that was smart, because it got people to pay attention to a game that might have been otherwise dismissed at a higher price. Like, remember when they charged $20 for Fire Pro Returns on PS2? That price point got a lot of people to take a chance on the game.
Also, and someone can correct me if I'm misremembering this, but I'm preeeeeetty sure that when they initially announced the Manager Mode DLC, that was intended to be a part of a free update for PC players. Then the PS4/NJPW stuff got announced, and everything got shuffled around. Again, I understand why things might change in the wake of signing a deal like this, but the pricing is a huge bummer.
