Super cool to see more Apex - I'm having a blast with it. I do wish they would play more offensively. Making it to second place with 0 kills is super boring. I try to land somewhere safe then start hunting for other people. You get points for kills as well so it's not like you're forfeiting score by playing aggressively.
Yeah, camping a location because you have good circle position really isn't the way to play the game. Getting spicy is fun in this game because it's so quick and easy to get into matches, compared to other BR's anyways. I'll also say maybe the kb+m for the guys just isn't what they're used to anymore, so most encounters were pretty anticlimactic.
First, Abby didn't know that Sandra married that ass Jesse James? Further more, I can only guess she doesn't know about how Sandra was during the custody battle between Jesse and his previous wife for their daughter. All that aside, this movie fucking sucks, Murder by Numbers would have been a better choice, although both are thriller movies not really horror...
Feedback I guess for the guys. I don't hate the new move, but the written piece is pretty bad. It kind of just ends with no brief summary of Ben's overall opinion on the game (so maybe a little longer for the written section of the review). And as others have pointed out, an hour is a bit much especially when you start to add up all the other content ya'll dedicated to the game (two podcasts with the occasional overlap, a QL and this too) it really does seem a little excessive.
I personally like the long review format, Dan's review of BoTW was fantastic last year. It really showed that he took the time to express himself in a proper written piece that was articulated perfectly to be a reflection of him and his passion for the game. But I can understand why this format will probably reach more people and ultimately will make the site content more accessible.
Been replaying this along with these guys and I'll be interested in seeing how Alex deals with the combat system... Forgot just how terrible it is compared to the rest of the series.
@deathpooky: On your opening points I agree. To me, it seems like Atreus is birthing the World Serpent whilst he holds Kratos in death. The lore states the the World Serpent was sent back in time during its fight with Thor, which explains why the serpent seemed to know who Atreus was.
This seriously was amazing. And hearing Nic talk about how he took traits from the Peter character and used them in Castor for Face/Off makes total sense, so happy I got to watch this.
