@jesus_phish: Don't get me wrong, I absolutely know what's going on when the north sign is on the left side of the minimap instead of on the top because I as a player have turned to face right. All I mean to say is that it really disorientates me and I always go digging through the settings to see if I can change it so that north will always be on the top of the minimap no matter which direction I'm facing. Do people often use minimaps the other way around because I don't remember the names of the games but it seems like there's a few that default to like the player orientated type of map?

@devil240z: Some games have north change with player direction on the mini-map (not the big map), i.e. the player arrow is always facing up.

If the game has a map then I have to know my directions.

On a side note it really annoys me when the mini map's default mode is to turn with the player's direction so that north is always changing. For me up has to be north on a map otherwise I completely lose my sense of direction.

Try switching between borderless windowed and full screen. For some reason one of those would always break the game for me (it's been a while since I had to worry about it so I can't remember which sorry!)

I just switched ISPs and doing so has made watching Giant Bomb videos pretty annoying. My actual internet speed and everything is the same if not a little bit better which is really frustrating because I used to just set videos to Streaming and watch on Auto fine but now I can only use HTML5 on High (sometimes HD if I get lucky). I've tried using different CDN servers or something that was mentioned as a fix somewhere else, and that's what got the HTML5 player working but it's still annoying because the auto mode doesn't work. Is there anything else I can try or should I just keep switching servers until I find a better one?

I found a similar deal for PC version but now I'm in a situation where I have to download 50gb from Uplay which is really slow for me for some reason and downloading at an average speed of around 300kb/s so this might take a while...

Unless the escalator is full then I'm usually walking up those escalators (on the left because I'm from Australia). I find it weird when people just stand on escalators or take elevators up/down one floor.

Incidental exercise is only ever a good thing.

@junkboy0: Yea I don't expect it to be easy but I'm hoping it'll be fun enough for me to play for a while! Although having seen the Rebel Galaxy quicklook I'm not so sure which one I should pick!

@junkboy0: Hah! I picked this name to use as an alias like ten years ago and you're the first person to pick up on it, at least to openly admit it anyway :P. In other news, you've convinced me to buy it when it comes out. I have been looking for another game to play now that I'm done with MGS and this seems like a game I can pick up and play every now and then as I go through my exam season.

I'll probably get this when it goes on sale too. For me it's more to do with the fact that I'm really worried about the difficulty, I already suck at most games, so hearing that it gets pretty difficult is kinda off putting and I'm not sure how much of the game I'll actually end up playing.
