I love the DBZ Legacy of Goku series on the GBA. I feel each entry in the series got better and better culminating in the 3rd one which was real fun. Legacy of Goku 3 added fusions and the map was huge.

This was happening to me as well last night on my windows 10 laptop in Firefox. Now it's happening in Chrome (78.0.3904.97), mac os 10.14.6, 2880 x 1800

I can't think of one singular guide that goes over the current meta or anything like that. As people have mentioned, Blizzard has been patching things pretty rapidly so the meta seems to fluctuate. Plus, it really depends on your skill level and whether you're playing alone or with a team.

To learn about the heroes, google is a good place to start on reading about heroes. But honestly, just playing the game is probably the best thing you can do. There will definitely be stuff to get used to especially if you expect to see certain abilities from launch OW, but you'll catch on pretty quick.

If you're interested in getting better with particular heroes or meta-discussions, there are a number of good streamers and youtube channels that discuss meta. I particularly enjoy the youtube channel Your Overwatch. They do a good job talking about all the patches that are released and their potential meta implications. I also watch the streamer Jayne (he has a youtube channel as well). He's the coach for the Canadian World Cup team and has hour+ long videos reviewing/analyzing videos of particular heroes or matches. Really informative but definitely not necessary to enjoy the game.

To briefly summarize the meta though, as people have mentioned it was recently dominated by dive comp (high mobility heroes - Winston/DVa/Tracer/Genji). Dive comp focused on jumping a singular target that had a Zen discord orb, killing the target and getting out. However, with the release of Brigette and the new Hanzo changes, now the main meta is Rein/Zarya and double sniper (Hanzo/Widow). Brigette's passive heal, stun, and armor ult really countered dive hard especially tracer and genji. Plus, with how overpowered Hanzo's burst damage potential, he's a must pick dps now. Pharah also has seen lots of play now since she can counter Brigette.

Honestly, I'm not a huge fan of the meta now. Dive was super dominate before, but really only in high level play because it requires a significant amount of coordination. The Brig-centered comp on the other hand is easier to play because the synergy is obvious/trivial. But countering it requires way more coordination unless you just mirror the comp.

Anyways, tangent aside - my advice is to not worry about meta because it doesn't really matter unless you play competitive and are really good, in which case you probably already know the meta. Just hop in and play.

Assasin's Creed, gears of war, GTA IV, Dota, Uncharted

From my personal experience, I feel like targeting kids or at least being a kid online has been used as a point of insult for a while. Back in the day, I played a lot of warcraft 3 online. Frequently, people would call someone 12 years old or a kid to imply the person was inexperienced, naive, immature, or to de-legitimize the individual. I feel like the logic was: "Why should anyone take your input seriously since you are young and inexperienced in life? Since you are young, you don't know what you're talking about and you should stay quiet," which is obviously nonsense. Unfortunately, I was guilty of doing this too (even though I was myself a kid :P). For me, I would use it as any means to just try to jab at someone cause I was angry and frankly immature. And even though there was no voice chat in the WC3 days, people still managed to throw "I bet your just a little kid!" to complete strangers to shut them down. So basically, I would say it comes from a place of immaturity but it's certainly not a novel thing.

I'm definitely in the camp that thinks this movies is going to be bad. But I think the trailer looks alright. It's not changing my desire to want to watch the movie, however. Given the previous DC track record, a nice looking trailer won't fool me again (looking at you Suicide Squad).

In fact, I think Dan already mentioned (can't remember if it was on a video or the beastcast) that PUBG was going to be his number 1, despite Zelda being a game he loved more. I imagine this year's best game discussion won't be that heated/contentious (at least for the number 1 spot). I anticipate everyone will go for PUBG

no, I enjoy the beast-crews witty banter regardless of the topic. I also don't skip the ads even though I have a premium membership, so at least I'm consistent?

I only feel bad for them because I know they must be getting loads of postcards XD
