Hitsmas comes early this year, as IO interactive, or Square, or whomever, has now made the Game of the Year edition of Hitman free for a whopping two weeks (on Steam and possibly other platforms?) as of today. And Game of the Year it is, at least according to sites such as; nuke.com, videogames.com, rivalvideogamewebsite.com and ofcourse, fuckdanryckert.com. Even Giant Bomb has made a few videos featuring this game.

I recommend all of ya'll who have yet to brutally murder someone with a combination of a high-velocity can of spaghetti and a toilet-induced drowning, to give it a shot. It's a hell of a good time, and it's received so many updates since the last "episode" was released, including an optional higher difficulty setting for the purists, as well as a bunch of other neat additions.

I thought Destiny 2 was an improvement on Destiny 1, but that their post-launch "support" was laughable at best. That aside, I'm 100 % up for another beefy slew of content in the vein of The Taken King. I'll definitely be picking this up come September, have a good month's worth of fun with it and then move on. But that's pretty good value for 40 bucks in my book.

Cooool. I'd like to have an arcade cabinet one day, though I really can't make my mind up as to which game I want. There's so many.. No, wait. Soul Calibur. I'd want Soul Calibur. Tekken 3 is a damn good choice as well, though.

It's a dang good title if nothing else. Reminds me of that The Clash song, "Straight to Hell". Can't really commend anything much more than that.

I equip myself depending on the encounter.

What I mean by that is sometimes I carry tissues with me when allergy season is abound. The one consistent thing I tend to have with me is my music machine, which comes in the form of a mobile phone. Right front pocket. The slightly less consistent thing are my house keys. I'm a terrible, terrible tenant. Usually stashed in my wallet, which either goes in my back right pocket, or preferably in a jacket pocket close to the heart.

@rorie: Oh, cool. Thanks for the heads-up. I'm glad to hear you folks are already on top of this. Looking forwards to seeing how it'll turn out.

@nutter: Qlcrew is terrific. The fact that it has to exist ain't, though. I can understand why the folks at this site wouldn't want users to be able to sort through who's on what video; but having access to long-running features really ought to be part of the package.

I also just want to be able to log onto giantbomb.com and be able to watch a series I already know I'd like to watch without having to sift through menu after menu. It's somewhat easier now that the search system is more manageable; but if I were to ever forget the name of the feature I'd want to watch, I'd have no choice but to spend a LOT of time finding it.

There HAS to be a better way.

Upon opening GiantToilet.com, there are a number of sections you can access, ranging from News, the "Wiki" (I stand by these quotation marks!) to the forums. These tabs tend to be very useful when trying to access specific content, such as a podcast episode you missed, etc; with one VERY glaring exception. The "Videos" tab. It currently hosts a good 30 subcategories, presented in text so small I gotta' squint to make sense of it.

It just seems overwhelming, and the "categories" present only exacerbate the problem, seemingly chosen at random, and very out of date to boot. Many popular series of late are missing entirely, and the order in which they're presented strikes me as completely random. It's not alphabetical, it's not divided by Coast, or how recently it was last updated. It's just a real big pile of words that's been added to and added to over the span of the last few years.

Now, having that kind of content available is great! Coming to this site and having NO idea that said content even exists, or how to access it? Not so much.

As I haven't heard much feedback on this subject, I thought I'd take it upon myself to be the first to bitch. I would very, very much like it if we could cut the number of categories by about half and then perhaps update the list every few months to feature the more recent shows. Having a separate page featuring ALL of the subcategories would also go a long way to help newcomers to the site find great shows such as "Kerbal Space Program!" or "Vinnyvania" without having to learn about it through word-of-mouth.

Cheers, I guess?
