One note about the Janella/Tully thing is remember Spears and Tully took pliers to his mouth after Janella put a cigarette in Tully's drink. They've been having a weird fued, so it wasn't totally random. I'm not saying it's good, just that it isn't random.
@retris: If you look at the ratings for AEW and NXT, AEW is wayyy more popular among younger viewers, while NXT is being carried by people in the 50+ demo. I would assume this puts AEW in an weird position, considering younger audiences are much less likely to have cable, yet having a cable TV deal seems to be considered extremely important in US wrestling success (I personally don't know why). With Dark, BTE, Twitter, Vlogs, etc, I feel like this is their master plan to reach younger audiences. This is my super roundabout away to say it makes sense to me to put some great matches on Dark haha.
@redwing42 yeah I discovered Sammy's vlog last week. It's pretty entertaining. I think he's plays a good cocky heel, but the blog really showed to me that he will have some great face potential one day too.
Anyone been keeping up with Dark? I really enjoyed the matches this week, and I think they've done a good job moving storylines along with it. It's a pretty good way to keep up with some of the storylines if you aren't checking AEW Twitter.
As someone who has been looking for an excuse to get back into watching some wrestling for a few years, I've been really happy with AEW so far. The fact that it's only 2hrs TV +1hr dark every week has made it much easier to get into than the 7-8hrs of WWE. The early storylines have definitely been fun, and Jericho is brilliant on the mic.
What I'm really hoping to see is some more promos, especially after Moxley's awesome one last week, and some development of the women's division. There aren't any real stories with the women's division yet and I haven't been blown away by any of their matches yet. However, I thought that the Shanna match this week was good and was soooo much better than the terrible 4-way on Dark, so maybe things are looking up there.
I get the same issue. For example, I'll start a video I had previously watched part way. The video will pick up where it left off, but I will also hear secondary audio of the video starting from the beginning. As @cloudymusic mentioned, waiting a second does seem to help with the issue. I've noticed that I only get this issue when the video uses the YouTube player.
So I finally saw the movie Face/Off, and it was even more insane than I expected after hearing so much from the Giant BEast Crew. So I ask, if you could replace Nic Cage and John Travolta in a Face/Off scenario with any two characters, who would you choose?!?
I think having Wario steal Mario's face for his next money scheme would be fantastic.
