Rorie's history of the phrase "real McCoy" isn't actually fully substantiated, especially since there's some evidence the phrase is based on "the real Mackay" from the late 1800s, which is before US prohibition.
It may have been revived in the US during prohibition, but I'm not sure it came from that time period or even from the events Rorie describes.
This looks like they just handed us Mass Effect all over again with minimal changes bolted onto the formula, even the presentation looks like a last gen open world game. In the same way Fallout 4 tried to serve up just more Fallout without making significant advances to any part of it, Andromeda looks like it tried to reheat an old meal.
