I just picked up a PS4 Pro the other week so my library is kinda small. I got Yakuza 0 with it due to just how awesome that game is, PuyoPuyo Tetris because of just how awesome that game is, and The Last of Us because I remember people telling me just how awesome that game was.

I do plan on nabbing Persona 5 and Horizon Zero Dawn, maybe FFXV but I still feel like I need to work my way up to that one or just hold out for the PC release..

Gotta go with N64, mostly because it had Perfect Dark a game I sunk way too many hours into.

I find myself coming at this game with a similar mentality, I have a pretty good feeling I won't be winning anytime soon (and so far out of the 10 rounds I've participated in I have not), but I am finding it to be a lot of fun. The tension of sneaking around, the quick planning and prep going horribly wrong due to not watching the timer for the wall-o-death, or due to surprise people rolling up on you I think it's the sense of excitement of organic fluid and evolving fire fights that could develop at any time is what is keeping this game exciting. I mean just being in a shack and hearing a car roll up outside, knowing that shit might go down right here right now out of the blue is fantastic!

I just got around to watching Passengers recently, from the trailers my initial take on this film was a lot different than what actually happened which is a nice change of pace. Visuals are nice, and the story was very simple to follow which worked well for what it was trying to do. Overall I found it enjoyable and yet it's a rather sad film. I'd rate this movie with a 4/5.

I don't like using the front input jacks on my system for that same reason as they wear out too quickly. I've simply invested in a simple 3.5mm splitter for my headphone / left right channel audio. It lets me keep both speakers and headphones hooked up at the same time so there's very little wear and tear on the connection.

@moab: I was somewhat intimidated at first as well, but I somewhat went overkill in the preparation to help get over that fear. The Monsoon Hardline Pro Bender Kit really saved my ass from a lot of headache. It's got everything one would need, and that ruler kit it provides is pretty much what made my build possible. You can literally mock up your tube run with the ruler segments and get a close to exact measurement for how long your tube needs to be, as well as at what length you would need to make your bends. The other overkill thing I did was I bought 5 meters of hard tubing in anticipation of screwing up a lot, funny thing was I only ended up using 2 meters of it for the build as well as for a few fuck up bends. PETG tubing I found is rather forgiving if you goof on a bend, simply reheat let it straighten out and rebend. You'll just need to take it slow and make sure your tube is properly heated up.

Right now I haven't overclocked either the CPU or GPU just yet, but at stock I've seen the CPU hit about 45C under load, and I was running an Adia64 stress test on it for an hour. Same goes for the 1080ti I ran the Heaven Benchmark from Unigine for over an hour and according to MSI Afterburner I hit a boost clock of 1835Mhz with a max load temp of 46C. I plan to get the CPU to 4.5GHz and the 1080ti boosting to 2000Mhz if possible.

Since the 1080ti came out recently I was eager to switch from a SLI 980ti setup to a single card for hopefully less headache in terms of settings and configuration for most games (having an Ultrawide monitor and a SLI setup made configuring games that didn't support either much more...fun...at times). But here is the fruit of my labor! A hard tubed liquid cooling setup ready for VR and hopefully beyond!

I've got a Zboard Fang USB gamepad circa 2006~ hooked up. I've replaced countless mice, keyboards, hell entire systems but that little bugger remains. I'm going to have to relearn how to play most games when it breaks.

I have no real feelings good or bad towards Jim Sterling so his personality and or how he conducts himself matters very little to me. But as someone who has never played a Legend of Zelda game the criticisms he has for Breath of the Wild seem rather valid.

I will admit, an open world Zelda game that incorporates game systems that help ground the player into that fictional world seems really fun. But from what I've read / watched about the execution of these systems, nintendo kinda dropped the ball a little. 7/10 sounds reasonable to me, honestly I feel the only reason why this game is getting 10/10 from everyone is because the gaming journalism community as a whole are all a bit bias towards Zelda games.

I dunno if I was in his position I'd probably be docking the final score for the same things. From what I can tell that poor excuse for a weapon degradation system the game has deserves to eat a whole point off the score. I for one typically enjoy weapon degradation systems in games, but usually I get some kind of indication as to when the weapon is going to break on me. To have the weapon break randomly on you without warning irritates the fuck out of me.

I remember having trouble with Seagate drives long ago, but after being burned by that one failed drive I switched to Western Digital HDDs and have not looked back.

Strangely enough the last drive to somewhat fail was a SSD, but I don't think the drive itself was failing as was the controller. Sometimes it was there as if nothing happened other times it was not. Had a hell of a time figuring that out, was second guessing SATA cables, my external drive caddy, the motherboard, you name it. But all signs kept pointing to the ol' OCZ Agility 2 90GB, bought it around 2010 and primarily used it as an OS drive for quicker boot times. Thankfully I managed to pull most of the data I wanted off of it before shelving it completely.
