Oh I know you can without that stuff but I just figured playing on a big screen outweighed playing on a screen tablet sized, especially considering you’re playing multiplayer. In my opinion I’d rather not be huddled up around that and I’d rather be sitting on a couch.
PS4 has a lot more games, especially local coop games, but the portability of the Switch can also factor in. It's pretty great to just bring it to a friend's house and play multiplayer with them instead of making them come to yours or lugging the PS4 over
I'm not sure what you mean by the portability of the switch. Yes the tablet is portable but the system itself isn't and is a facsimile of the PS4 and all of the cords/accessories accompanied with it. So whatever you'd be "lugging" with the PS4, you'd also be lugging with the Switch. Unless there is something I'm missing.
