I Came. I Saw. I Conquered.
Games I have completed.
Games I have completed.
Don't remember much about it.
Great start to a great franchise. Beat Em Up with swords is good combination.
I finshed the campaign, but this is a game you never really complete.
It's a short campaign, but every moment is intense.
Great atmosphere; can't wait to pick it up in HD form.
The game that started the FPS to FPRPS evolution.
Dante makes you feel like a total badass until your hands cramp from all of the action.
Are you ever REALLY finished with this game?
Great atmospheric horror title.
I'm a sucker for Dungeon Crawlers.
I'm a sucker for Dungeon Crawlers.
The humor and fairy tale motif were fun, but the clear-cut good / evil system was a bit limited.
The game that brought me over to the JRPG genre; one of my all-time favorites.
Great under the radar game.
Why hasn't this been made into a motion picture yet?
Showed that a First Person Shooter could be a cinematic experience.
The number of different viewpoints we are able to see the Black Mesa incident from is a tribute to the developers and makes Black Mesa the unquestioned Greatest Venue in Gaming History.
Shorter than Half-Life, but I actually had more fun playing this game. It might be the way I was able to view the Black Mesa incident from another viewpoint that made it so enjoyable.
The Greatest Launch Game Ever?
Only completed this game with one character, but it was fun. Feels like a good first attempt that could really be improved with a sequel.
A humble beginning to one of my Top Two Franchises of all time.
My primary reason for buying a PlayStation 2.
Graphics don't match Dungeon Siege, but deep campaign makes all of the difference.
Was excited to broaden the Halo saga, but this felt a bit like a bridge between Halo and Halo 3.
The art design may be derivative, but I liked the universe Killzone established.
I still remember how astounded I was to move through a game with no loading screens in the PlayStation generation.
Good shooter, but I think others had passed it by at this point.
It's Bond, but nothing special.
The Legacy of Kain gets my vote for Best Overall Production Value in a Franchise.
The production value of this franchise continues to get better and better. The lack of a true conclusion is the only thing that keeps it from beating Metal Gear Solid as my all-time favorite franchise.
Underrated game with innovative combat system.
Beat Em Up with swords = WIN
I'm glad another installment was made for this underrated franchise. The Conan-meets-Disney motif is inspired, and the combat system makes you feel truly powerful.
When bullet-time was groundbreaking...
This title re-introduced me to console gaming after I put down my Atari 5200 controller down as a kid. Played it through in one sitting.
The most cinematic game I've played to date. (Will likely change when I play Guns of the Patriots.)
Serviceable Beat 'Em Up.
My entry to PC gaming.
Maybe the most blown away I've ever been by an opening cinematic. If only some of the the cool elements shown in the trailer could have been incorporated into the game!
One of my favorite games of the PS2 / XBox generation. Terrific total package of story, art direction, style, and voice acting.
The combat system was expanded, but this took the Arabian Nights motif from Sands of Time and completely squandered it.
The original FPS had the right idea all along. Rather than trying to re-create WWII, use it as a backdrop to tell a story.
Looked very pretty, but never had the magic of Diablo II.
The building sense of dread Silent Hill evokes is a nice contrast to the startling scares of the Resident Evil franchise.

Surprisingly good Action RPG was one of the better early games for the PS2.
PIcked this up after playing Deus Ex; glad I did.
You get to play as a Ninja, what could be better?
Looking back, you have to ask how controlling a ninja can feel like steering an ocean liner?
Gauntlet Mutants = WIN
Underrated game I'd like to see a sequel for.
I'm a sucker for Dungeon Crawlers...
Liked the geo-mod technology, and it felt like I was playing Total Recall.
My play-through just confirmed what all of the word-of-mouth said: a good effort that doesn't live up to the standard set by the original.
Completely engrossing game with minimal weaponry and no dialogue.
Best Batman game effort to date. The noir style of the animated series lent itself perfectly to a video game. Batman is also my favorite superhero, so I'm totally biased...
Not bad, but nothing too memorable.
The weak link in a terrific franchise.
Very underrated game. The trust / fear system was innovative and helped keep the game tense. Not Resident Evil or Silent Hill, but a worthy chiller of a game.
I'm a sucker for Dungeon Crawlers...
Serviceable fantasy brawler.
I liked that all of the actions in this game were done with the analog sticks. It gave it a much more immersive feel. I did come to like the characters as I played through the game, and liked that game explored mature themes.
Playing through the Half Life saga is like watching a favorite trilogy from my movie collection.
Very intense. Play with the lights out.
Finished the main quest, but there is so much of the map still blank, I'm making it my mission to see all of the locations. Even though DC is a wasteland, I love that I never know what I'm going to see over the next dune.
Ares, you are my bitch.
I didn't think a game could be made that would provide a satisfying close to this saga and live up to all of the hype. I was wrong; this might be the best video game experience I've ever had.
The most cinematic game I think I've ever played. Can't wait to get my hands on Uncharted 2.
AFter multiple restarts, two platforms, and a ton of side-questing, I've FINALLY finished this life-stealing game! Still have Shivering Isles to get through, but Oblivion is DONE!
Finished the HD version on PS3. Great combination of story and fast action. You really feel like a powerful character when you're playing Kratos.
Great finale for Kratos; this franchise really puts the 'Epic' in Epic Trilogy. Only Shadow of the Colossus drives home colossal scale of your enemies and the world you're in like God of War does. Was sad to see it end(?)
Took a while to finish this one, but it was well worth it. Nails two of the things I love most in video games: compelling story and great atmosphere. Rapture takes its place with Black Mesa as the most fully realized settings I've experienced.
I don't usually buy linear, single-player games, but the Uncharted series is so much fun I might add them to my collection. These are the kind of games I pull out and play from time to time like I'd watch a favorite movie.
I loved navigating the cities in this game; they really feel like they're lived-in places instead of sets waiting for you to show up. Altair was great to control and the animations were spectacular. The game delivers on its main goal: make you feel like an Assassin. Just finished this one and I'll be renting ACII tomorrow.
Bigger and better than the original. Now that MGS is finished, it's nice to have a totally over-the-top mythology to follow again. I liked Altair, but Ezio is definitely more fleshed out. The new tasks were fun, but ended up swimming in cash pretty quickly.
Completed the current Assassin's Creed Trilogy back-to-back-to-back. Each game is bigger and better than the one before. Each world looks more lived-in. Ubisoft definitely knows cliffhangers; can't wait to hear about the next installment.
Good Action; shooting sequences were frustrating though. Fun to hear 'Fringe's' Anna Torv in her native Aussie accent.
The cinematic style and deliberate gameplay were a welcome change after a string of shooters and action games. I didn't have the patience for all of the endings this game is supposed to have, though.
I loved this game. The Post-Post-Apocalyptic setting was inspired and the vibrant greens, blues and reds of this game reminded me how beautiful the PS3 can be. Well written script and great performances by the voice talent really drew me into the story.
