When it comes to speculation, industry, or whats the future pieces on SWTOR. I wonder if World of Warcraft is always mentioned, by every writer. Just kinda realized it.

Racing games are always overlooked in the enthusiast press GOTY deliberation room. Jeff talked about it, in reply to an email on the last bombcast. He was pretty much on point about it. That and fighting games. I'd also put F1 2011 right there with Dirt 3.

As a fan of Nations. I really should be playing Trackmania 2 already. But fucking hell man, all these other games and Gran Turismo 5 DLC + Forza 4. Its not good to enjoy so many genres anymore :(

Amazing lighting, great camera work, nice animation, superb in game Menu/UI. I can see why though it doesn't seem that impressive. I mean even Lost Planet 2 looks pretty ace. Most third-person games are nice to look at these days, even RE4 still kinda wows me.

El Shaddai as well. There were a lot of visually stunning games this year. Hopefully on the accompanying podcasts both RAGE and El Shaddai get a nod. Yet to listen the 'casts yet.

So I have waited awhile to ask this question, and searching the forums has not yielded anything on this.

For the past two years, Giant Bomb has ran a special "Best of 20xx" user list. Where everyone's list counted as votes. @Jeff would release the numbers for us and write about it, so we would could see the results. For me It's probably the coolest part of the whole game of the year/end of year content extravaganza week.

Are they not doing it this year?
