They're apparently working on a patch to address the stuttering issues.

PSA: Part 1 is currently on sale for $1.50 on Xbox Live, I just bought it yesterday.

FYI the version of Assassin's Creed that comes with all of the DLC is also on sale for just an additional $6 ($36 total), so you may want to opt for that version if you end up choosing Assassin's Creed.

Personally, I would wait for some details about the Neo to be revealed before purchasing a PS4.

I'm right there with you man, I prefer the more structured format of earlier Burnout games to the more open format of Paradise. The thing is that I've played Revenge to completion while I own Paradise but have not touched it yet, so I'd like a convenient way to give it a shot without digging out my 360.

@ccffbb: Gears of War: Judgment is indeed backward compatible and appears on the list on the website you linked to.

I don't have any real knowledge about this topic, but if you have a 360 around I would try having him log into that with his Xbox One profile and see if that allows him to play on both going forward.

I think an announcement of an Xbox One Slim is very likely. An announcement of the more powerful Xbox that is supposedly coming out next year seems less likely, but I hope that they do finally say something about it to put all the speculation and uncertainty to rest.
