My first day purchases for the next year or so:

Spore, Fallout 3, World in Conflict: Earth Assault, Crysis Warhead, Far Cry 2, Project Origin, Dead Space, Mirror's Edge, King's Bounty, Fallout 3, Red Alert 3, Dragon Age: Origins, Witcher: EE, Alpha Protocol, whatever that new NWN2 expansion is, STALKER: Clear Skies, Left 4 Dead

Games I'm considering:
Space Siege, Cryostasis, Damnation,  Velvet Assassin, Sacred 2, Tiberium, Rise of the Argonauts, Call of Duty: World at War, Warhammer 40K 2.

Reliable brands are Corsair, Seasonic, PC Power & Cooling or Antec.

You would be much better off spending your money on lower watts and a good single 12V rail then on something 600W and cheap.  Anything over 500W would be overkill.

My suggestions are the Earthwatts 430W, the Corsair 450VX (my personal favourite).

Nvidia, mostly because I've had such awesome experiences with eVGA and I had so many issues with the two ATI cards I owned.  I recently replaced my 8800GTX with a GTX 280.  I'll consider using ATI again when either a) eVGA starts making ATI cards too like some rumors suggest, or b) Nvidia cards become so bad in performance you can't help but switch.  Overall, I just prefer the way games look on Nvidia cards, I prefer how performance is with games I play, and I prefer the software.

If I was a female I would definitely be a lesbian.  Men are ugly looking creatures.  All of them.

"id still hasnt said whether or not they will port rage to consoles, they just said future games.

warhead went into development after crysis warhead by a different studio, which was bought witht the sales from crysis.
The argument isnt whether or not they can make PC exclusives anymore, the argument is why they still do after talking a bunch of bs.

And what we're trying to tell you is your argument is wrong.  Rage is not a PC exclusive.  They already said it was coming to 360 and PS3 the exact same day they announced it.  And Crytek said that Warhead was being worked on before they even finished the original Crysis.  It wouldn't make sense now to make Warhead on consoles when the original isn't even on there.

"

Rage isn't a PC exclusive.  In fact, iD has come out and said that they will build all future games for consoles first, just as Epic, another former.PC exclusive developer said.

Also, Crysis Warhead was in development long before Crytek made that announcement, obviously.  I have a feeling we might also get another Crysis standalone expansion through the view of Prophet in the near future as well.

The only thing that has me worried is Crytek still claims they don't plan on bringing Crysis to consoles, and yet they also say they aren't doing PC exclusives anymore, so it's possible we'll be left with the cliffhanger at the end of the first one forever.

The fact of the matter is, you can't have big budget FPS games be PC-exclusive anymore.  While sales are still good in Europe, PC game sales have dried up in North America when you don't count WOW or The Sims.  Just a few years ago, PC-centric shooters like FEAR, Half-Life 2, Doom 3, etc. had no trouble selling millions in America alone.  Now COD4 on the PC is considered a huge success even though it never passed 500k on the PC.

While it does depress me that big budget PC action games are going away, I'll be happy as long as decent PC ports get made so I can play future Crytek games on the platform I prefer FPS titles on.

The President's Choice Meatless Burger is actually pretty good, although I believe it has more to do with soy then vegetables.

I usually can't get into GTA-style games but I might give the PC version a whirl, especially since you can probably make it run a lot smoother on the PC.  With Saint's Row 2 and Mercenaries 2 coming out this year too, it's good news for people who like these type of games.

Definite yay, I spent more time replaying the first few levels in different ways than I spent with the entire campaign of other shooters.

Also, I never understood why people always talk about how bad the story is.  Sure it's generic and not well-written, but you can say the same thing about 95% of FPS titles, and people usually don't care.

Seeing as how Flagship just closed it's doors, it's hard to recommend to people picking the game up.  We've no clue how long the online portion will be available for much longer.
