I noticed that "Best of Giant Bomb" link appear on the video dropdown earlier. I was wondering if it would be something new, or related to TurboMan's videos. Super cool to see those videos on the site in an official capacity.

Really enjoyed this article. It made me think about myself and my attitudes towards certain games that I have played and enjoyed. When it came out, I played and really enjoyed Katawa Shoujo. I even wrote a blog about my experiences with it. That game was one of the first games that I had a strong emotional reaction to. The game is also depicts sexual content with girls who, whilst the game insists they are 18, look very young, which is something that I definitely don't agree with. As time has passed, I've distanced myself from the game and felt like it is embarrassing that I enjoyed the game. That I shouldn't have enjoyed it and even that it's shameful to like such a game. It's a guilty pleasure, but with far more guilt than pleasure at this point.

And that's dumb. I enjoyed the game greatly at the time, I shouldn't be ashamed by that. I was confident in expressing positivity for the game back then, but now that time has passed I feel differently about it. I think at the time I maybe swept my concerns about the questionable aspects of that game under the rug and focused on the positive experience. But as time has moved on and my positive memories have become less prominent in my mind, the issues with the game have crept back out and I've even overcompensated for it. I think if I had been more honest with myself about the problems with the game when I played it, I would have a more rounded opinion on the game today.

Really looking forward to this. Particularly hoping to see some interesting articles from lesser known writers and bloggers.

@robowitch: This is pure speculation, but I'd guess that Sony probably wanted to expand their network stuff beyond the PlayStation brand. They had the whole rebrand of the PSN store to be the "Sony Entertainment Network" and regularly put a focus on the movies and music on the store. But at this point, services like iTunes and Google Play have become such big players on that side of the industry, it would probably be hard for Sony to put much of a dent in their market share. It probably makes sense to double down on the PlayStation side of things considering how well the PS4 has been selling.

Those Toad collecting sections that Dan hates so much seem a hell of a lot like Mario Party mini games if you ask me.
