No, the only thing that will get me to buy more Originals is if they stop uploading pure and absolute fucking crap like Zapper, Blowout, Grabbed by the Ghoulies, and Sega Soccer Slam.

Agreed.  Net nerds are the only people I ever hear waxing philosophical about "TEH INNOVASHUN" when it comes to gaming.  Of course a lot of these same people flocked to the Wii, and wet themselves over new Mario Kart and Smash Bros. games, which are nothing but Gamecube titles with slightly better graphics and online, the same things they bash other games for being.  In person, these questions of originality and innovation are never heard of, just whether it is fun or not fun.  Those are people with their heads screwed on right, who don't treat gaming like a life style.

Funny thing is, I'm the farthest thing from some "pro player" or anything of that sort.  I'm actually pretty average, but I still get treated like some kind of professional hockey player going to a skating ring and skating circles around little kids while making fun of their little fat legs.  I mean, for sheesh, I just started playing as Rose today, and I'm suddenly the XBL e-bully of all Ken players.

*soul throw*
*Ken* Why do you keep doing that same thing all the time?
*Me* Because you keep jumping at me, it's an anti-air move.
*Ken jumps again anyway*
*soul throw*
*jumps back out of range of telegraphed focus attack and uses shamwow ultra*
*Ken screams a string of racial slurs and cuss words and rage quits*

Just another day on XBL.

"Playing the games has actually been very smooth with little games experiencing lag. Getting into games is the killer. Don't know what possessed them to force me to choose a game rather than putting me into a match when I choose quick ranked match, resulting in constant messages of "Game is full" or "Unable to join." What's worse is that if I don't choose custom matches to limit the games to same skill I'm constantly put into games with relatively new players spamming firy shoryukens that I blandly counter with a block and tiger uppercut. Picking Dan to go against these Kens can only entertain me for so long.
"
Block and throw, then stand right beside them and block the wake up fierce shoryuken and do it again.  That gets SO much rage.

It runs great on average.  Which it shouldn't, since most times the connection indicator shows everyone at no bars, despite how smooth they run.  Those indicators only work sporadically for some reason.  It's also way more of a pain in the ass to actually get a match started sometimes than it should be.  "Unable to play" is the result of about eight of ten selections I make from an opponent list, then for some reason the people I am mysteriously unable to play, are still on my search results.  When you get to fighting, it's great.  But it's getting to the fighting that is way too much work.  I'm also not thrilled with the lack of standards for ranked play. (no double blind, and Akuma players using one round 30 second matches to steal wins and boost their BP) But despite the issues getting a fight started, and the typical online shenanigans, the gameplay and presentation are so rock solid that i can't help but enjoy it.

If you're speaking in terms of quality, then the PSone classics wouldn't have been a factor.  The selection for that feature is abysmal anywhere not called Japan.  I liked PSN for it's increasing emphasis on downloadable current gen games like Siren and Burnout.  But find that in regards to the PSN games in general, find that they have a grossly misplaced emphasis on being innovative, as innovation for the sake of innovation is something that has mixed results.  The only thing that makes PSN look good right now to me is that MS suddenly forgot how to properly support the marketplace.  The last few months of XBLA and Xbox Originals offerings have been terrible.  But the release of Virtual On XBLA and even one great hard to find Original like JSRF or PD Orta would turn that around over night.

Yeah, I submit a player review for unsporting conduct on everyone who does that.  Another insanely boneheaded design choice by Capcom.  Ranked should be double blind, best of five rounds.  Just like SF2HD.  I'm all in favor of full host control of setting and who plays, but only in player match.

That's what I call my three character rotation as of today, anyhow.  I tried using Rose today for the first time.  I see Dan more often than Rose online, and my last attempt at keeping variety alive online was with C.Viper, and that did not go well.  But I find that I really enjoy Rose.  I can work a lot of jump traps with the soul throw that get me some awesome results.  Plus she's fun, which like it is with Sakura and Dan, is as important to. (if not moreso) Also used her to bust up about ten Ken players today, nearly in a row. (interrupted by a few 30 second one round Akuma guys who were trying to steal a win)

I was honestly amazed that at one point, one of them did a fierce shoryuken, only for me to block it and throw him... four times in a row before he thought to stop doing it.  Which was just hilarious.
