@mailbox225: Yeah I think this is about where I'm at... I think believing accusers is important (and probably supersedes everything else) but I'm also a little uncomfortable with lack of nuance in how people are judged - seems you're either a saint or a complete scumfuck with no in-between.
Unfortunately I think they made it a bit worse on themselves with the calling out of Matt Pascual which also seemed to be for something quite low on the spectrum of bad behavior.. they've essentially set a precedent which people will expect them to follow... but who gets to be the judge of what crosses the line... the crew? the audience? me? Guess everyone will need to make up their own minds.
Will finish with something positive, I really commend Abby for hosting an all-female 'cast, respect.
@brad just in case you're interested, an alternative interpretation of the 3-2-1 backup schema is to keep 3 copies of data, on two different types of media, with one of those copies kept offsite.
Two types of media were typically disk and tape (but many enterprises are shifting to use cloud as the "second media type" instead of tape... even though a cloud repository is basically just disk sitting somewhere else!)

@toxicantidote can't speak for anyone else, but I was one of those who voiced dislike of the youtube style thumbnails - I think most people of sound and reasonable mind don't feel the need to keep reiterating their displeasure at something. The youtube thumbnails felt cheap before and still feel cheap now, but it's their decision which I totally accept, I don't see the point in addressing it again [except for right now to respond to your point :)]
I hope this doesn't come across as attention seeking... I actually hate attention and conflict in general, but I love giantbomb!! I don't like the youtube thumbnails and I already provided that feedback, and I don't feel the compulsion to do so again - I think most people will behave similarly, but maybe I'm the weirdo!!! Have a good one.

Honestly, these Brad + Vinny streams have been a real highlight of my week during these trying times. I know you've both surely got your own challenges and the fact you can still provide such entertainment on a daily basis is really something, thanks a lot! Love this crazy swiss cheese planet.
Refreshing to see some real constructive criticism, thanks for sharing @turboman!! I would definitely prefer your style of thumbnail, although I could see a potential problem; that is it's introducing an element of "editorial opinion" to a format which is (at least in theory) meant to be purely informative...
