I debated on making this list for a few months now. This was the year I bought a good amount of games, but only finished a few of them. I didn't think it fair to make this list when there's plenty of games that could fit on this list, but I didn't want to put them over games that I actually finished. But these are the games that I did more or less finish (largely depends on if there's an actual "end" to the game or not) and enjoyed quite a bit.
Loving it. I love some of the streamlining the series went through here, and it's fun to mega evolve older Pokemon and see what changes have been made in looks, typing/ etc.
Another solid title in the Tales franchise.
I loved the new Devil May Cry. It took some time to get used to a few little things this time around, but once it clicked, I had a devilishly good time (you can groan now).
I completely avoided Skylanders, and figured I would do the same for this. Then the game came out, then I started watching a bunch of videos, then it went on my Birthday list that was quickly coming upon me, and the rest is history. It's fun, great for kids and adults, and I like how most of the characters played as. I'm hoping for a little more diversity in the future (less Pixar, and some more classics when it comes to playable characters) but I can't complain too much.

As my GOTY in 2011, there's still a spot in my heart for Saints Row The Third. Not so much for IV, but I loved running around virtual Steelport, up buildings, and gliding around the skyline. That stupid fun and satisfying stuff really hit me hard, I just wish there was more to the story and not such a focus on side stuff, but I still had a fun time with it.
A fun fighting game I could play with friends.
I haven't finished this game yet, but I felt I played enough of it to feel like I could place it here without any real problems.
