Don't look a gift horse in the mouth! If someone offers me a free drink, I'll take it. Also, outside of abstract moral philosophizing, it's hard to see what harm results from an establishing giving out one free drink too many.

Spectre

First time re-watching it since seeing it in theaters, and my opinion of it hasn't changed. Some cool moments, like the looooong opening shot and the Spectre meeting/car chase it Italy, but the movie really loses the thread in the last third or so and the final sequences in London feel like a tired retread of Skyfall. Probably the weakest Craig film.

3/5, and only because I'm a Bond fan.

I'm having a lot of fun with it. If you're sold on the concept I'd say go ahead and jump in. Definitely performance issues and some jank but they're patching it frequently and it's playable. I'm playing on a base One.

a lot of the stuff people go head over heels for just passes me by. Like Kanye. I dunno, I come at it from a lifetime of listening to death metal where the lyrics are both indecipherable and often garbage so really it's the music that matters and the sound of the words rather than their content. So rappers who are real technically proficient and have great rhymes is no where near as exciting to me as well produced music. Either something a bit funky, like classic Dre, or thick soundscapes like Dälek.

Interesting! I too was way into extreme metal (mainly black but also death) before getting into hip hop, and also generally listen for the production and flow of rapping more than what is being said (though that still matters a little, of course), but I love Kanye for that exact reason. Albums like MBDT, Yeezus, and even Pablo have incredible production value with incredibly intricate and engaging sound design (IMO). Kanye's lyrics, on the other hand, have a knack for being memorable (relevant: "Ima Fix Wolves," lol) but are often meh.

^I stayed in the room, and I believe Mikey gets hurt worse if you do Mikey does not get hurt (got the names confused). Steph still goes with him to the hospital though. My logic was I would give the money to Frank later, because I didn't know if Damon would honor giving me a cut, but that opportunity never arose. So I guess they now just think Chloe ran off with the whole grand.

The talk at the table always escalates. I didn't backtalk because I wanted to play it cool so we could get through dinner and run off...but Rachel just explodes at her Dad instead.

Those little moments between Amber and Chloe fucking nail it and the play managed to both be wildly dumb and really touching all at once, and I kinda love it.

I just want to add on to my comment to say I agree with this 100%. The scenes with Rachel and Chloe are by far the best, and stick with me long after I finish the episode.

I too enjoyed just about the whole episode, but found the "twist" at the end kind of out of left field and a weird note to end on. Especially because that dinner scene was good and I thought it was building up to something more. I hope they go the original LiS route and go big and bold for the final episode.

In the group I've been running with, I've been the only person punching councillors during the Calus fight. Having two people solely focused on adds makes it easier for everyone to stay alive. The key to doing it solo is just to keep moving at all times. Run up towards the councillors as the team calls out which symbols they see, and adjust your running as you eliminate possibilities. Then just run straight back to the back of the room (where the entrance is), staying behind pillars and cover to regain lost health, and repeat. It might take a few practice runs to get a hang of it, but I haven't died once doing this the last couple times our team took on Calus.

If a team is having issue keeping people alive in the throne room, and someone feels confident about being able to do this, it might be a strategy worth trying.

I think Crucible is totally viable as a solo player. Just stick with the other players on your team and don't try to lone wolf it. As you learn the maps you'll find ways to work with your team (without communication needed) to flank enemies. Sometimes I come up against teams that are working together and crush us, but I've won a lot of games solo and had a lot of close matches as well.

This might be the hardest destiny raid so far; I did the first three and am about halfway through the new one, and this new one has some of the most complicated mechanics of any raid so far. In a couple of weeks though a lot of people will start to have it figured out, and it will become easier for more casual players to find a group of people that can help them breeze through it.

I think the reason why Destiny raids are hard to scale is because the difficulty comes not so much from the enemy's attacks but from the precise coordination and teamwork required. It's not just tank/heal/DPS; every segment has different mechanics to learn. WoW raids, for example, rely a lot on pure DPS in sections, and that's easy to scale because you can just lower the numbers required to pass the DPS check. There are some DPS checks in Destiny raids, but that's usually not where the challenge comes from.
