In Front Mission 3 there's this little chime that plays on the map screen, when you're moving between locations. I haven't played that game in years but every time I use Google Maps to plan a trip I hear that chime.

Disgaea 5 Complete technically came out this year, but being a release of a PS4 game I feel it's not really a 2017 game. Regardless I spent more than 200 hours with it this year and I'm not even done yet so it wins my GOTY.

I stopped after Season 1, and I only got that far because I didn't want to waste the money I spent on the DVD. I did get a few laughs out of the scene where the main characters smeared themselves with zombie guts to get past a horde of zambinoes, but otherwise it didn't appeal to me at all.

This is my first Sonic game (I grew up in a devoutly Nintendo household) and in the Quick Look I noticed Jeff pulling off some moves that I'm assuming came from earlier games in the series that I missed out on. Stuff like Sonic using Tails to fly upward, and spinning up in the air and landing in a full speed run/roll. I looked for an in-game move list but I haven't found one. Is there somewhere I can find the commands to do these moves?

Any time I whiff a point-blank SPD in Street Fighter 5. Command throw detection in that game is shaky at best, especially online.

I tried my best to get into Tekken 7. It has great production values and unique characters and looks fun as heck but it's everything I hate about fighting games in one package. I've played probably 10 hours and uninstalled it twice.

@shagge: My local arcade had one of those back in the early 90's. What a ripoff. It cost like $2 to play one round of a half-assed fighting game with atrocious display lag.

I just finished playing some Street Fighter 5 and now I'm wondering why I still play Street Fighter 5. I'll probably play a few rounds of Rocket League before I fall asleep on the couch watching YouTube as I often do.

World of Warcraft will always be scored by Devin Townsend Project for me. Specifically Addicted for the Wrath of the Lich King and Sky Blue for Warlords of Draenor. I don't know if I ever had the default soundtrack turned on in the years I played it.
