@toxicantidote: Hopefully, but Nintendo was never above this sort of stuff so who knows. I don't remember From trying to sue the DSFix guy (probably because he was actually fixing their botched port) so possibly they aren't too litigious.
If you're referring to Nintendo taking down AM2R, that's a different story. AM2R is a remake of a game that Nintendo were in process of publishing a remake of themselves.
I'm unclear on why this is an unfinished, says it's a 1.0 release on the itch page. And Max has said on Twitter that he had no further plans on making it more than a tribute to the opening area of Bloodborne. He's just fixing bugs for now, and is also working on another game.
What a great series this has been. Enjoyed every single episode.
Also, the background image and webcam border didn't bother me at all. There are quite a few more steps before it becomes the chaotic nightmare Jeff created for his streams. That's overdoing imo. This however isn't. It added a bit of extra visual personality, without being distracting. It fits quite well.
Didn't realize we are already at that point culturally where Nolan movies are suddenly considered lame.
It's more that he's mostly an one trick pony. Not necessarily a bad thing. It's just that you can often predict what tropes his movies will involve.
Jeez, how cynical can you be? How much in common does Insomnia have in common with Momento and what is the big twist? How does Interstellar overlap with Dunkirk? And why is having a twist a bad thing if it fits and is interesting/rewarding like in Interstellar?
The biggest knock I can say about Nolan is that there is a lack of humor in his movies but that's fine. Hearing QT on the Ringer podcast talk about how Dunkirk is one of the greatest movies ever made and how even as QT he has no idea how some of it was shot -- that really gave me some perspective on Nolan's genius when even the other best filmmakers have no idea how he does some of his work.
I say all this as an Inception hater. I never liked that movie. Or at least the last act ruins it as it seriously feels like Call of Duty: The Movie. But Dark Knight Rises is my fav. Batman so I'm full of Nolan hot takes I guess?
I'm trying to figure out why I would want to buy the highest tier, when I can keep playing on amazing servers that exists in previous Trackmania games?
