Quantum Mechanics is the study of the very small. So small that standard physics breaks down and requires a new set of rules. You cannot relate to this because you do not exist in a very small state.

Cubits is the measurement. Qubits is a discreet unit of information in Quantum Mechanics.

Math is a universal modeling language. Geometry is the application of that language in physical space. Physics uses math to model movement. Instead of trying to relate to math think of it like the alphabet and grammar. Try relating to Physics or Chemistry or Geometry instead and it will help.

If you truly want to learn how things work consider studying a kind of engineering where you learn to apply math to model anything and everything.

Edit: Oh and photons are a discreet unit of electromagnetic radiation (think light atom) with no mass or electric charge.

Great Bakalist! My wife tends to "play" games by watching me play them too with the exception of adventure games. Her all time fav series to play since she was young is Monkey Island. Some day I will surprise her with a lemon head costume.

I love everything about everything that Mike writes. This was no exception.

Love the list. Starbound advice: Dig deeper earlier so you can get your ship rollin. The game changes a lot when you get to the new Space Station and you can think about finding a perfect planet to make your base and populate it with NPCs.

I just formally noticed that Hitman is on almost every list so far. You should probably play Hitman.

I play most Grand Strat games by Paradox but I still haven't gone in one Hearts of Iron 4. I should probably do that soon...

Nice list Ed! Loving Civ 6 so far!

Also no doubt about it; Stellaris is the best Space 4x out there to date even with all it's nitpick problems. Make sure you get the Leviathans DLC as it really improves the mid/late game.

Does the Poppy flower look different in the UK than in Canada? Because Canada has Remembrance Day but our Poppy looks nothing like that.

Yeah there are different depictions of the poppy depending where you go. The one from the video is more representative of what real poppies look like. Canadian poppies are more of a fake idealized version.

I'm gonna have to side with Dan and Jim Sterling on this one. In game that has puzzle elements you cannot have wishy washy responses to the environment or mechanics. When I see the 'animal' not being able to do basic things like eat food all I see is bad AI or physics.

This game looks like a test of frustration where you are constantly being pitted against poor implementation of game mechanics and it constantly breaks me out of any immersion in the world because of it.
