I've decided to list all of the games I have completed in 2013. Not many, it has been a hectic year.

Wii Version, Completed on 12/20/2012
I really like this series, but in all honesty, this was the weakest of the American Ace Attorney Trilogy.
There was not really anything added to the game, no improvements or added elements. In fact, it seems they even took away the whole rotate evidence puzzle element completely. The game was very long (at least its seemed long when I would check the time on my Wii sessions) but it felt shorter than the previous games. I also did not really care for the way the over arching story was spread across the game. It made the game feel a lot shorter. Also, the end case was not very good, entertainment wise. It had a lot to due with the Kurain channeling stuff, and it was just kind of contrived and dragged on.
It was a decent game, my least favorite of the three Phoenix games, but it was a solid experience overall.

Well...sort of completed. There is still the 18th episode and the DLC, which I will visit later.
Overall, I enjoyed this game, quite a lot actually. If I would have played this sooner it would have went of my Top Games of 2012 list. I really like how the meter system was set up, with the attack gauge building towards advancing the next cut scene. The story was awesome, even if it was kind of loony. If this game had platforming elements it would probably be better than the God of War games. I hope there is a sequel. Yasha's Pride?

This game was mediocre. It had some good spots, but overall the game felt unpiolished. The controls were unresponsive, the graphics were sub par, and the story was senseless.
The game felt like a uninspired, frustrating God of War. While I initially liked the mask, he became annoying rather quickly. Everytime you picked up a weapon he would say the same tired line every single time. The game overtly tries to use curse words and female nudity, and it just comes across as mildly stupid. Avoid this one, even if it is in the bargain bin.

This game went over my head in both gameplay and narrative. I had to use a walkthrough for a majority of the game. The puzzles were very clever... Too clever. I never would have been able to beat this game on my own. I am not sure exactly how the point of the story is about a rapist who wants to create nuclear weapons either. I am not going to even attempt the eight stars.

After playing a violent game that failed to be funny (Splatterhouse), I get to play something violent that is actually funny. This game was fantastic. It's Suda51 at his best. I think Nick was one of the funniest characters I have seen in a while. The delightful spray of sparkles and rainbows in contrast to violently ripping apart zombies with a chainsaw is quite a treat. The soundtrack is awesome and has a great mix of tunes. It is comparable to a Grand Theft Auto soundtrack, that's how great it is. I loved this game.

I have some mixed feelings about this game, but overall it was a generally positive gaming experience. It stays true to the movies, and I was impressed that they had the original cast. I thought this game was funny, not laugh out loud hilarious, but it retained the comedic cadence of its movie predecessors. The game can be frustrating due to its camera controls, causing a lot of cheap hits. You have to rely on your other Ghostbusters calling out where enemies are, but its not very reliable and often too late. The game is also short, it seems like once it really starts to get rolling its already over. It would have been nice to have been able to try the multiplayer but the servers have been dead for a while now.
Overall, this was a above average game, considering it was a cheap bargain bin game for me.

This was the last game I completed before the revamp of the new Giant Bomb site.
Overall the game was good, it started out extremely slow, but it wrapped up nicely. Too bad you did not get to spend more time with each character, but I felt it was a good way to cap the series (unless 5 comes to America).

It has took some time to beat some games, but this one was all around fantastic.
This game completely cut out the crap that was in Far Cry 2, and made this game what I would consider a masterpiece. The characters are all great and the action was non stop. Even the multiplayer was impressive. I loved the story also, and I do no think it ever lost steam.

Yeah, it is essentially a Gears of War ripoff. It's a damn good Gears of War ripoff though. To me it is more like what happens when you mix Gears of War with Vanquish. This game was satisfying, not only with the machine destroying gameplay, but also with the at times corny b action movie story. Good times were had.

All I can really say about this game is that either the Last of Us or Grand Theft Auto V have a chance at dethroning it for GOTY. Absolutely fantastic plot that was a joy to play. Best game I have played this year.

Would you kindly beat Bioshock?
So yeah, I never finished the original Bioshock until 6 years after its release. It has aged slightly, but it is still a superb game. It is vastly better in some aspects over Bioshock Inifinite and inferior in other ways, so in my opinion they are both equal in terms of scope, storytelling, and overall fun.

This game was...ok I guess? It felt more like a re imagining of the original game than a true sequel. The story was not as good, although some of the additional 'elements' added to the game were kind of cool.

Wonderful game, had to turn of the 3D effect after a while. A great twist at the end, still not quite as good as 999, but one of the best games I have played this year.
