The Regina is a large four door sedan that appears in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, Vice City Stories, San Andreas, and also in The Lost and Damned expansion for Grand Theft Auto IV.
Vice City and Vice City Stories
The Regina in GTA: Vice City looks a lot like a 1984 Chevrolet Caprice, thanks to the wood panelling and chrome strips. The
bonnet design is similar to that of a 1970's Cadillac. The grille design is similar to that of the Pontiac Parisienne. Despite the looks of the Regina, it's not an incredibly slow car. It has pretty good performance, and can take a reasonable amount of damage, which is pretty good. In Vice City Stories, you can find a Regina sitting parked in front of Mary Jane's apartment. The Regina manages to be a good vehicle, but nothing of major note. It beat some more mundane vehicles in performance statistics, but for the most part it will be outclassed by other cars on the streets.
San Andreas
The design of the Regina in San Andreas is extremely similar to the version from Vice City. It remains similar to a Chevrolet Caprice in design, and is decent with all--round performance. Like in the two Vice City-based games, it is not of incredible merit, but it will work as a sturdy, but relatively average car. It seems to appear more in the countryside between San Fierro and Los Santos than in urban environments, or the desert. It is possible to cause Reginas to spawn frequently in urban areas for a few brief moments though, by arriving in the city extremely quickly (eg. using the railway lines and a high performance car), though this will cause other
The Lost and Damned
The Regina in TLaD appears only during the mission 'Heavy Toll'. The only way to obtain the Regina in this game is to take it to the Bohan Safehouse. The Regina in TLaD appears to be a 1960's station wagon. This suggests the Regina may not be in production anymore, as the game features a classic model. In TLaD, the Regina is a generally undesirable vehicle. It has poor acceleration, and a low top speed. It also has poor brakes for its massive body. Another downside is that it cannot take a huge beating. According to badging on the Regina car, it is produced by Dundreary.
