The hot-blooded main protagonist of the Yakuza series. Known as the "Dragon of Dojima" due to the large dragon tattoo on his back, as well as his reputation as one of the most formidable figures within the Dojima Family.

Aoi Umenokouji is an aiki ju-jutsu practitioner in the Virtua Fighter series. She is introduced in Virtua Fighter 3 as a childhood friend of series protagonist Akira Yuki.

Dural is a character in the Virtua Fighter series.
The cruel patriarch of the Shimano Family, a Tojo Clan affiliate, and sworn brother to Sohei Dojima. Futoshi develops a deep grudge against Kazuma Kiryu after Kiryu claims responsibility for Dojima's murder in 1995.
The honorable captain of the Dojima yakuza family and patriarch of the Kazama Family. He funded the Sunflower Orphanage where Kazuma Kiryu grew up and acts as Kiryu's mentor.
Lau Chan is a character who appears in the Virtua Fighter series. He uses Koen-ken fighting style, and his daughter is Pai Chan.
Akira Yuki has been in the Virtua Fighter series since its inception. Using a series of well timed moves, Akira's style of play is only suited for the hardcore fighting game players. He now appears in Sonic and Sega All-Stars Racing
