Very interesting to see Forza 1 after being the biggest fan of the series since 2 but never playing 1. I bet that game would've blown my mind back then. I was big on the PGR, Rallisport Challenge and Gran Turismo.

My theory is that most people who play inverted played some type of flight game before a FPS, and got used to joystick controls. Myself as an example.

(Doubly so if your first FPS was Descent)

Because he's kind of a narrow-minded dumbass? Is this news to you? I like the guy, but this ain't exactly a mystery. Go watch the old Game Informer videos where he shows his dad games, and you'll see exactly where he gets it from. Dan's practically an openminded trend-chaser by comparison.

Jeff can be pretty dismissive of things too, but his grumpiness comes with a bit more detached self-awareness.

@mooseymcman: Conker was great. Definitely one of the best looking games on 64. Its multiplayer was phenominal. Not Goldeneye or Perfect Dark great, but up there. It's one of my all time favorite games and gameplay wise it's still one of the best in the genre. Imagine a Rare platformer that wasn't centered around collecting tedious bullshit. With that said a lot of it doesn't hold up. By the time the Xbox remake was released the jokes from the original were way too old. I can't imagine how any of the parodies hold up now. Actually, considering it's been well over a decade, the jokes might have looped back around into quaint jokes of the era rather than eye rolling like they were in 2004-5 like this remake.

Oh Big Jeffrey is on this one! Awesome, I was hoping Jeff would be on a Demo Derby.

Rocky Legends was a good game. I was at least 18 or 19 when I first played it and I still feel that way.

The real draw of Conker was the splitscreen on the original 64. It was really shitty of them to remove that from the remake because the game had that going for it
