Preface: I've played the JPN version of Dissidia.

Incredibly, you combined not only a complete lack of knowledge about the Dissidia fighting system, but a complete ignorance of Final Fantasy in general (Onion Knight is not a girl) to give what was at best, a crappy showcase. Did you perhaps even consider doing some research before showing off the game? If you did, it sure didn't sound like it. Dammit, I mean, I've put in over 200 hours into my copy of JPN Dissidia and you even put me off getting the Dissidia. I had to watch some more youtube video's of Dissidia to restore my faith in it.

Man, they're really pulling out the stops on the fanservice here. I loved how the menus differed depending on which game each character came from.

That is what I'm saying. Seedofpower asked whether or not 6 was 3 on the SNES, as if it was first released on another system as 6 and then released on the SNES as 3. What I'm saying is that the 6 = 3 mess is not due to something SNES related. Rather, it has to do with the territory it was released in. Final Fantasy VI was released as such in Japan but was released as 3 in North American territories. "

It looks boring.  This game would probably be more interesting if I had ever played an FF game before, so I would know who these characters are in the game.

The interface looks busy. Too many numbers & swirly arcarde symbols in the game. It worked for Crackdown, but some of these Japanese games clutter the screen. I'm not sure why they like that kind of look & feel so much.

I like to hear about what employees do for money at GB, such as going for bonus cash & shit.

My purpose for buying a PSP will finally become fulfilled.

Looks like crap, play worse.  Castelvania: Judgement actually looked better, and that's saying something.

Why do companies make shitty fighting games using characters and themes that have no place in one?  I don't think there has been one yet that was even marginally good.  Didn't Star Wars: Masters of Teras Kassi teach us anything?

Please, go find a copy of Ergheiz.  It has FF7 people in it and it's actually a pretty good game.  Square should have put that on the PS store and called it a day.

I'm a Final Fantasy fan, but I wasn't a fan of this game. It was disappointing to say the least.

Ok seriously, let someone who knows the damn game explain it, you guys did everything HORRIBLY!!! This game is amazing, screw you bashers, ONION KNIGHT IS A MALE!!!! The place you fought in is Pandemonium from FF2, and try pressing the triangle button when those arrows appear instead of falling into the bravepool like a dumbass, even a newbie could find that one out. Oh, and no depth? Are you guys retarded?! It has an entire storyline to it, Cosmos is losing the fight against Chaos, and Warrior of Light and the others must defeat their Nemesis from their corresponding games along with Chaos himself to save Cosmos and restore balance, yes I have played the JPN version, even though I couldn't read it, at least I understood what was going on, and if you guys would do a background check for once, you would know that FF2 has been out since the late 90's and 3 was released on the DS, my god is that so hard to understand? Try checking into a game before you go assuming you know how it works. I was never as pissed with a review as this, you guys ruined this game for many people who never knew about it. Also, those comments about Square milking a dead cow, try the game out so you realize that this is a masterpiece of a fighter.

I'm an FF fan, but you fanboys/fangirls are killing the reputation of the people who like FF and know how to control themselves.

Brad needs to learn the controls.
But Dissidia is awesome.

I don't think I learned much about how to play the game from this quicklook, but I have it sitting around so I guess I should get around to try it out myself :)
