Quick Look: EX: GoldenEye 007 Multiplayer

This looks pretty good, I'm almost getting a Night Fire vibe from it. Well actually Night Fire was a revamped version of Golden Eye with duel analogue controls... so yeah. And (guilty) I'm one of those people who preferred Night Fire to Golden Eye, probably one of the only reasons it was more popular is cause it came first.

The HD version isn't full 720p, but I guess because its a wii?

This actually looks like good party game, I had my doubts but I get it now.

It looks good. I want to see more of the singleplayer though.

I hate QuicklookEX aka a quicklook where you can't say anything bad because the developer is right there. 

I want a nerf hat.

The headshot only mode looked like tons of fun.

Maybe it's the nostalgia speaking, but this game looks pretty fun for a Wii FPS game.  And I do miss splitscreen battles.  Nothing better than getting a case of beer and 3 friends together and yelling about who gets to pick Oddjob.

I can't help but compare all these features in the game to Call of Duty. Am I out of line here, or does someone else see this?

The amount of hate this game generates is ridiculous. The GB guys seem to be having fun, and still this game is a "PoS"... whatever.
 
It doesn't look bad, if you ask me. It's perfect for the Wii: it can please both "hardcore" and "casual" audiences, being not too deep yet not too shallow.

I guess Activision were angry that their James Bond license wasn't being used now the films have dried up, but trying to target peoples nostalgia is a dirty move. It seems alright, a competent shooter, but it really has nothing to do with the original Goldeneye going by this QL.

Of all the shit that has been talked about Brad's skill this year, you have to admit he is pretty good at retro FPSs. 
 
Fun QL to watch.  Still not looking to buy this.

This looks ok but both of the levels they went on looked very similar and nothing like what their names suggested (or more what my nostalgic memory hoped for). 
Also the gameplay looks like they skinned the CoD4 Wii engine with James Bond and took the afternoon off. Sure the goldeneye gameplay doesnt hold up very well but it doesnt even seem to have any of the traits of it instead going for a straight up CoD clone.
So it's a wii fps where the best way to play is with a dual analogue sticks? Why not just make it on the main consoles instead? Who has 4 classic controllers? Sure you can play it with the wii remote but if its a big disadvantage it would make local and online really unfair.  
Gonna wait on the reviews but I predict 7/10 at best, 5/10 more likely

If only this would come out on xbla or psn.. I dont feel like getting my wii out

Actually looks pretty decent. I think I got caught up with some people saying negative things about this game and canceled it out. Time to watch some more gameplay videos.

I play all my games inverted too, some people just think of camera control like airplane control and cant break the mind set.  Believe me I've tried and its impossible, I always end up shooting the ceiling or staring at the floor. lol "

Oh man what a sweet hat throw. 

Getting some nostalgia from that, seems to be a fairly smart melding of 1997 and present shooter conventions. Still kind of wish it was on 360 and PS3 though because with the Wii it feels like it only makes one generational leap in graphics.

I admit it, I was rooting for Vinny.

I wish Perfect Dark Zero had been more like this and less like... well, like Perfect Dark Zero.

I feel really odd saying this but... I want to play some GoldenEye.

This looks like the best shooter ever for the Wii.

So many GoldenEye memories. I really enjoyed watching them play because that was basically my friends and I in high school. :)

Im sure that in the N64 game, the automatic weapons didn't sound like electric typewriters.  Other than that, this looks really fun!
