The music in this game is so good. Why would you even use the CD support?

I remember really wanting and being disappointed I couldn't play this back in the day. So, to answer @jeff 's question, I think for a lot of people in the U.S., they are going to be into this since they were denied it back in 1999/2000.

I still hum this Metal Gear theme from time to time. One of the best pieces of video game music ever for the greatest video game trailer ever.

I like the character and the music is nice, but aside from that, not sure why everyone is suddenly obsessed with this game after they teased it at E3 or whatever it was. Doesn't look great at all.

Yeah, those digital manual pages are identical to the Scandinavian booklet - so they saved some time with that too.

Haha, I did the exact same thing Jeff did where I was playing along with the tutorial and hit 'X' and accidentally quit it. I feel less dumb now.

I was so happy to find that Brad and Jeff had done a Quick Look for Vib Ribbon that I spontaneously began to sing the Remix to Ignition by R Kelly. A song I haven't heard for years. Amazing!

Shame that Vibri isn't seen as a playstation character in the league of Spyro, Crash, Sackboy, Kratos, Parappa and Sly Cooper.

The voicework and animations are really well done.

If there's some kind of converter/trickery to get music files to play on the Vita Vib Ribbon, I'll buy a Vita to play Vib Ribbon (and Hohokum).

Way, way cool. I was in my 20's when it originally came out. So I still have the nostalgic warm fuzzys for this title.

It's crazy how Sony have messed up the classics section on the PSN Store though, you can't even browse PS1/PS2 games on it anymore, only search for titles you already know are there (but no way to find games you are unaware of).

It's a strange, but addicting game.

Whenever we get a brief glimpse at Jeff's nostalgia it always reminds me why Jeff is so cool.

Ya, he can be cynical (so can I, really), but he's played and enjoyed games for a long time. Me too for that matter.

Maybe it's just that I can relate to the stuff he's talking about, I don't know. I get it, though. He's in the same boat as the older demographic who plays and enjoys video games and has for a very long time.

I don't get the quandary Jeff and Brad have throughout this video. Are they wondering if people will try this out despite it being from 1999 Japan and didn't know about it beforehand? I mean, all it takes is a little coverage from people like video game personalities, right? It seems like that works for other games I don't have a clue about, anyway.

I have ALWAYS heard about this game never knowing what it was or what it looked like. Apparently I wasn't missing out on anything, this looks like garbage! Not just graphically, but it just looks awful. Like Jeff alluded to, I think this is a release that only people who played the original when it was new will appreciate it.

I always wondered what would happen if someone popped Marilyn Manson's Antichrist Superstar into this game.

As someone who wasn't able (and didn't know) about importing games in the 90's-early 2000's, and until Giant Bomb had never even heard of this game I can honestly say I'm interested. I love music games, and this one looks like a gem. It is totally going on my wishlist.

Cool game, but yeah I'd like an HD remake with a better/more versatile algorithm, more "modern" timing, and full MP3 support. This release is worth supporting though.

Aww, they missed the best part of the tutorial: the shocking revelation that Vib-Ribbon takes place INSIDE VIBRI.

I remember renting this back in the day and thinking it was super cool, but also that there wasn't much to it and as a 'game' it was kind of disappointing.

As an Audiosurf junkie, I'm quite intrigued despite the potential problems with input lag. Granted, my lack of Killer Cuts might not live up to this QL's high standards.

I'm psyched for this game even if I've never played it, just because Brad and Jeff are. So yes I'll spend money on this just to support .. whatever this is. I mean it's cute, the music is charming but I don't like rhythm games. Still, I want it!
