these are a godamn delight y'all! I was a late comer to the start of GB and pretty much missed all of y'alls heydays at Gamespot, feels like I'm digging up some of that old gold y'all found there with these eps. thanks!

I dont get a lot of time to play games these days. I rely on the quick looks to decide whether or not i'll buy a game, if you don't cover it - i never even hear about it.

I would personally love it if you touched more games; like 5 or 10 minute videos that are basically just "hey i found this thing, here's why i think its interesting, i dont know if it gets better or worse".

UPF has typically been good for this kind of stuff, but then sometime you just play fighting games for two hours. Fighting games might be fun to play, but they're the absolute worst to watch or listen to.

Could you all post the Gamespot style guide? It would be quite interesting to read. Or if there is some hesitation on behalf of Brad could Vinny and crew try and persuade him. The review process is already democratized, as you all spoke to, so I don't personally see how keeping a doc like that private affects anyone except for some collectors mentality. It would be useful for people who are interested in writing to have a glimpse into the game-journalist's perspective and process.

I love this new old podcast, it's so interesting to hear about how things were done behind the scenes with game reviews and stuff! It's the same reason Game Tapes is one of my favorite features, you guys always start talking about how it was back then and it's fascinating to hear your perspective on it.

Also just wanted to say that Vinny's concentration face really made me smile during the beginning. c:

I couldn't help but take from this video that Vinnie, Brad and Alex have really good cameras and internet connections, but Jeff's seems to be pretty damn bad. Everyone else's was perfect the entire time but Jeff's was just constantly freezing and seemed to be at 240p resolution for most of this episode.
