While fighting Aquaman, Jeff disobeyed the golden rule: don't jump! I'll admit, it's really hard to break the habit, but it's game-changing when you learn to stay grounded and focus on footsies.

After years of hopping around MMO's, FFXIV has finally grabbed me once I finally got a little further into the story.

I love God Hand. If ever there was a game that solidified to me that Greg Kasavin has good taste in games that's the one I always think of. Last time I did a play through I did it with all kicking moves. It made the game feel extra absurd because here's a guy with the power of a god in his hand...doing nothing but kicks.

Super secret over their shoulder producer talk should be a recurring segment. That felt dangerous, dare I say...unprofessional.

Also, on the subject of beers: Stella and Chechvar (essentially a Chech-produced Budweiser) were two of my initial beers I drank (along with Busch Light). I am now a craft beer guy (though I love a good Coors Banquet/whiskey shot combo) but I can't really talk down on them because they were the introduction to a long road I will never stop walking. That said, I can't imagine ordering a Stella for at least another 30 years when my liver and mind starts to fail and I can't hack it with the big flavors and ABVs so well anymore. But I'm definitely that person who buys a PBR 6-pack or Busch Light 18-pack trying to be budget conscious for an upcoming big dinner or night out and regrets every cracked can now. Feelsweirdman.

@rorie I know you will probably be able to get help from the GB Clan on Warframe if you want it but I'm actually a Warframe Youtube/Twitch guy and know basically everything there is to know about the game so if you want like a rundown of anything I'd love to help. Been following the site for a long while now and would love to see one of you guys breach the harsh learning curve for Warframe.

@brozime: I had no idea you were on GB! I'd say you are the Youtube/Twitch Warframe guy, or at least one of the few who still gives it an honest shake at Warframe's content these days.

Really hope Rory give Hollow Knight some more time. That game is truly amazing so far for me. A great Metroidvania with a Dark Souls atmosphere, but with less of a difficulty curve.

As a huge RedLetterMedia and GiantBomb fan, this is probably the closest I'll get to that crossover I've always dreamed of.

@whatshisface: I played several hundred hours of Warframe when it was first in beta but dropped off pretty hard due to work and other games but I pop back in every now and then when they have something big like an event or whatever and I'm still super out of the loop but Warframe is a game that's changed so much that a lot of their knowledge from playing 2 years ago simply isn't applicable. Heck, even knowledge from one year ago isn't the most trust worthy like how I found out that you no longer feed mods to each other to upgrade them or how Carrier converts ammo which I'm pretty sure it didn't use to do.

Man, why Ben you gotta give Fuudo and them shade like that for?

The "impact" from the regular attacks in Injustice is so week compared to the excellent super choreography.

Brad has a tendency to not pay attention to what anyone is saying, even when he is being spoken to. How many times did Jeff say to Brad to hold crouch and crawl over edge in The End is Nigh?

@geralt: To be fair most actors and actresses don't beg for juicy Shaq meat as much as Rich Evans.

@brackstone: Agreed. Warframe is a perfect game made into only a good one due to their monetization method. As someone who has no problem paying them for their excellent game, I wish they'd just allow me to buy slots for frames, skins, etc and leave out some of the ridiculous timers and super rare card drops. It sometimes feels like days between getting something cool, and it usually means I drop the game again.

Can someone please make a gif of Jeff's face after Rorie mentions "Deadpool Blade?" It would be fucking great because I feel like that's a look of pure animosity.

We'll see! I'm caught up in Dishonored 2 at the moment so I might not be playing more Warframe right at the moment, but hopefully I'll come back to it at some point soon.

Your right this and the lack of hit sparks is what bothers me and makes me unable to enjoy watching or playing Injustice. SFV crush counters are one of the most satisfying hits in all of fighting games for me. Tekken 7 additions of slow-mo is also one of the greatest features added to a fighting game.

Live Oak makes a seasonal Weizenbock that is incredible. It usually comes out around November. Cannot recommend it enough.

@benpack: To be fair, what kind of reaction do you expect when your "but" boils down to "but modern board games are too complicated"? That's so reductive, it's insane not to expect a reaction.
