    Overview

The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky SC (Second Chapter) is the second entry in the Trails in the Sky trilogy, which is a sub-series of Falcom's long running Legend of Heroes RPG franchise. The game takes place directly after the events of The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky and was originally released on the PC in Japan on March 9, 2006. A PlayStation Portable edition of Second Chapter was also released by Falcom in 2007 and a port for the PlayStation 3, containing higher resolution graphics, was released in 2013. Later Kadokawa Games would publish an enhanced version of Second Chapter for the PlayStation Vita in 2015 called "Trails in the Sky SC Evolution" which contained redrawn character portraits, fully-voiced dialogue, a redone soundtrack and other new features.

XSEED Games published both the PC and PSP versions of the Second Chapter in North America on October 29, 2015. Carpe Fulgur, the company responsible for localizing Recettear, was contracted by XSEED to translate Trails in the Sky SC's massive script, which took several years for the team to complete.
